jst one more thing....whts the resolution of wall papers tht cn come as full screen..as in most of images covers the screen til below the calender and GIFS images as well.....and if someone hs good colection of wall papers n GIFS images..cn u plzz send it to me at abhiabhs@rediffmail.com

2. Is there any way to save new nos directly to existing name
a. AS in call frm nwe no nt stored whn try to store the only option is to save under new name
b. similalrly..if i receve sms frm newno ther eis no way to save the no or to call back on tht no ...
3. isnt there any options to make folders under sound or images menu so i can categorse my images n music wch wil be easier to handle havng many pics n songs.

Your post is good but please consider this:
1. In pakistan, price of K750i is 13,000 rupees while X700 is available at 9,500 rupees ( till august 4, 2006)
2. X700 also has dual stereo speakers as well for listening FM / MP3 player.
3. K750 does not have EDGE ( faster version of GPRS) for faster wap/web browsing while X700 has EDGE Class 10. Till now in pakistan, only MOBILINK has EDGE service.
4. X700 has better security options to secure folders as compared to K750i.
But X700 cannot play full screen video and cannot minimised MP3 Player while K750i can do these.

i had posted earlier regarding that things are not working well now it is. i figured the problem with te network i had to bring it back into norma mode. using #*536961#.
Now i am writing to mention a problem. In earlier pages i have tried loading Java. In both ways that is using Softick and Also with using Softick. In both the cases the conenction is getting established and when PPP UP is used after openign Java uploader the Java Clown comes but nothing happens after that. After sometime the already inbuilt programs and games i downloaded using WAP is shown. Then phone freezes and i have to restart. What is the problem. Please inform. SOMEBODY help.
If not this way please also inform how to download more than 120 KB using WAP. because WAP allows only 120 KB max. i have to have to download 520 KB program.

Hi, I bought it last day. it is good phone. but some comments I would like to do are :

1. Good sound and FM speaker is awesome compare to K750i.
2. Good Camera....
3. Good Display...
-Ve.
1. Too simple Mp3 player. I highly recommend MP3 lover to go for K750i for highly Sound Qulaity.
2. also basic design Model so it doesn't seem higly cost mobile.
if u have some more budget go for only K750.
difference is 2000 rs. which is worth. reason : 2.0 mgpx camera compare to 1.3. also more memory availble in that. also Excellent MP3 player.... also speaker available & excellent design

It is a good phone with a good sound, good pictures but the camera has no flash.

To Vatsal: X700 has much better sound quality than X620 due to stereo speakers. Please read my comparision about K750 and X700 that i have posted on june 19 or 20. (i am sending this reply from X700)

Hi
I purchased X700 a month ago. Man Truly great Phone. Want to know few things
1) Is profile (like in nokia) possible in this phone.
2) I tried downloading games using the method given in earlier pages (USB) but notihng happens just the mobile restarts.
3) Earlier is was able to atlead download using WAP. Now thats also not happening. Am able to browse in WAP but when i try to download it shows network error. I tried different sites. Same problem.
4) I cant hear Ringing through the headphone when connected. Even the button on the headset doesnt work.
Please help me out.
Great Phone Best Buy. To all those nokia fans i was once too. But now Samsung x700 fan.

I recently bought X700 and found that whenever any incoming call is coming, the ring tone is not ringing in the headset and its ringing thru the phone. if i m listening 2 FM Radio or MP3, its difficult to make out if any incoming call comes.only signal is the radio will go off and in the headset there vl b complete silence.pls advise if it is inherent problem of this set.i never faced this problem with nokia phones. regards,anjan

to vikas: u cant use themes on the fone but there are skins installed thru which u can change the color scheme of display. they are four. U can download games on the phone by using wap, bluetooth and usb data cable. search 'games' or 'downloading games' or something like that in the 'search opinion' box and u wil find the detailed method

i agree that you havent played with setttings but try master reset code it wont harm you anything if not working then go to samsung service centre for solution

go to settings-security-privacy
x700 will ask for password enter 00000000
select where you want privacy then save
then go to security then password then enter same password then x700 will ask for new password set any password consist of 4-8 characters .now enjoy privacy
