can some body tell me in which if convert video into 3GP it also distroy its picture quality which setting should be kept so that size donot exceed and picture quality should be same as in CD.

Plzzzzzz people tell me which type of USB data cable x700 supports and where it has to plug. is it mini usb to plug in headphones place or something different to plug in charger's place. i dont get any USB cable within package. thanx

Please don’t compare it with Nokia N70 as X700 is not a smart phone. Look at the price of N70 which is about 26,000 pak rupees while X700 price is about 10,500 pak rupees. You can compare it with Nokia 6230i or SE K750i. But both have much higher price than X700. At this price range/features, there is no Nokia / SE phone.

naah... I had high hopes but unfortunately this is not a great phone. We were forced to accept bad menus and technically inferior phones from samsung as they produced cute, well designed phones (with awful battery time). But now when everyone have started making great looking phones with good menus and samsung has finally understood what bluetooth is, they now need to seriously focus towards better usability!
I have had this phone for over a month and I am sad to say it's not a great phone because of many reasons. These are the foremost:
1. terrible buttons for which you have to use your nails to press buttons.
2. below average battery. really bad when using bluetooth/mp3.
3. mp3player only works with playlist
3. constant quality level in voice recorder. only terrible .amr bitrate is available which makes it barely usable for voice.
My 6 year old siemens S45 had better quality than this
4. sending sms to a person in phonebook takes waay too many steps!
5. no continuation between menu alternatives and in general most tasks take more steps then they really need to.
6. no configuration for keylock. either it locks almost instantly or not at all.
7. no way to change sms notification signal to something else than built in melodies. none are particularly good and definately no loud enough to hear in noisy environments.
You want a 'smart' phone with better *everything* look at Nokia N70 (or the new series which are on their way)
needless to say my next phone is definately going to be NOKIA or SE unless samsung sharpen up BIG TIME!

hi all im thinking of buying x700 but little bit confused for given features :
1- battery backup while playing MP3 or Media player.
2- camera quality in night.
3- durability of battery backup.
4- How many video songs can i store in it with given memory card.

turn off bluetoth when not in use.memory card consumes much more power than phone memory.if possible dont use card if not necessory.charge phone when battery is totally down.dont use animated wallpaper.use default wallpaper no.2 which looks excellent.

x700 uses headsets as antenna make sure that headsets are able to get signals properly by keeping them in suitable place and make sure you are tuned to right frequency try to move slider little bit.you are now enjoying high quality stereo FM.

hi!i am not saying that dont upgrade your firmware i am just saying that you should upgrade your firmware from samsung service center.yes of course upgrading firmware is necessry . but dont take risk . firmware fix bugs updates all neccessary updates and gives you enhanced version of firmware.speeds up x700.so you should upgrade but dont handle it as do it yourself project.nokia gives free firmware upgrades.samsung might be giving free firmware upgrades.so rush to nearer samsung service center.you can install games and applications from http://www.d500world.tk/

dont hesitate to buy x700.it rocks .except you cannot install smart movie player and other media players.this is because x700 have RTK operating system which is available only on d500,d600,x700.to download games and applications use

hi all,
i was planning to buy x700. i would like to get a full review abt the same. especially about mp3. is there any limit to number files that can be stored in memory card.can i make newfolders in memory card and store more than 50 songs..

i've read the reviews of samsung x700 in gsm arena and mobile reviw.com.they say that it has got great features when compared to its rivals and for the price,i heard that in india its availble for rs. 9,700.surely its a steal for this price which comes with card and cable.
