well no worries no help from any of you guys;). i wanted to know if i should get the silver or the black samsung x820. now i have got one...its silver and it just looks stunning!!!!!!! this is my first samsung phone(nokia all the way) but have to say i am impressed with this company....they do come out with great products. This phone is sheer engineering excellence. i have worked as an mobile antenna designer for a year and its bloody hard to fit all these into a phone. So if anyone wants to complain about what this phone doesnt have....try thinking what they have fit into it....its hell of a lot for this tiny size. When you buy it you are owner of an exclusive phone thats thinnest in the world. you cant get better than that atleast for now. Bravo to samsung!If you care about the too many extra features you can get any normal phones and its just easy to fit stuff in there such as ringtone and high spec cameras.

I have had this phone for the last 4 months. As we all know, no phone is absolutely perfect, sure there is no memory slot and the battery life is horrendous.
But it is a great conversational piece. Maybe that's not the most important thing to the majority, but if you can only slam a phone for battery life and memory, I'll take my chances.
The picture quality is not the greatest, but then again, if you're expecting a phone to have a camera on it equal to the quality of a $300 digital camera, that's your problem.
I am surprised by how well built the phone is. Already it has been dropped several times on the floor with no noticeable effects. The ringer and speaker phone is loud enough. The vibration is shaky enough.
** For the person questioning email/postal/office/fax storage, you can do that with this phone. **
Again, all watches are functionally the same, but people choose different ones for fashion reasons. Why should your phone be different? Sure the battery life is good for 2-3 days on minimal use (1-1.5 with excessive use), but what other phone fits into your shirt pocket?

Sam,r copy cats,intro blu tooth very last,now they never give MC with any set,plus no OS.Structure is always toyish only bcuz manufacture TFTs screen r bearable,otherwise resale is worst ad most of 50% of their models never marketed,typical korean mind.experimenting on highest MPs HDs Pdas but failures.D900 top of line finish is cracking ad unstable even MC compatability not stable nor u can rr ff the data when using it u have to transfer to fone which takes up memory,whats the use of MCs then.Sam think twice NOW!

Just got this phone but not sure if I'll keep it. Can you confirm that this phone cant store email addresses, postal addresses and multiple phone numbers - which my current Nokia 6230i does. I'm seriously thinking about sending it back and keeping my Nokia till a better Nokia becomes available.
Thanks

@rob
I don't know about other nokia phones, but the speaker is loud!! Almost as loud as my nokia 6230. Being the minimalistic guy that I am, this phone fits me perfectly!

Does anyone know how loud the ringer is (possibly compared to the nokia 8800 which I have and the ringer stinks). I need the ringer to be very loud. Also is the vibrate mode strong?
