Hi,
everytime I switch on Bluetooth on my z500 a message pops up saying "no bluetooth address! Set the BD address or it will do the wrong action"
does anybody know how to fix this problem ?

So many features drain the battery. Interestingly I phoned Vodafone and complained about the battery and they sent me a new one out not one from the phone box and it seems to have more life in it

Why is the battery life so short the phone only lasts a day and a half. I not the only one who has this problem i have some friends who are having the same problem please help with any tips

Why would you want it to use wav? thats a very old and large file size format, use mp3s.
To transfer either stick your micro sd into the sd converted and then into an sd card reader, or use the samsung pc studio that came with the phone along with the data cable that also came with the phone

Can somebody teach me how to transfer songs into z500? How do i transfer picture from my hp into computers? z500 can't support WAV??

1. The card is fully concealed by the phone.
2. This is a very good phone and i havent had any problems with it- check out the voting results for it.. all 8+
3. Anybody know where i can get a 1gb mirco sd card from?

Hey Everyone,
After seeing all the coments about the samsung Z500 i dont think i will get it. Can anyone suggest a good phone (prefered flip phone) with a good camera, and of course works well? I need help quickly, because i have to chose a phone in a week! someone help me! Oh, and i was also looking at the E720 and the S500i? any thoughts?

I've set my MP3 as a rington using the PC Studio but it's not loud enough

I do not see why there is all this negative feedback.
I got the phone yesterday and have been very impressed by it so far: it looks awesome (if you get the black version on vodafone) its solid and works well, the mp3 player is good, and its very nicer overall.
My only problems with it so far are:
It comes with 5 games, but all are demos- so you can only play the first levels of them.
Memory cards seem hard to find- can anybody give me a link to a site where i can buy a 1gb+ micro sd card?- biggest i can find is a 512mb.
Can you set an mp3 as a ringtone?- ive have a look but i dont think you can for some reason.

Does anybody know why you cant set mp3s as a message tone? I assume you can only mmfs, but that is so boring. Failing a way to do that, does anybody have a mp3/wav - mmf convertor?

Is it really so silent?... did anyone try the *#8999*8378# thing? Maybe it isn't at maximum volume...at least, many Samsung phones aren't, so you can amplify the volume manually.

After reading most of the comments on the Z500, i am glad i didnt get it asyet, because majority of these comments are negitive!!!...I think samsung should read these comments an act on it!!!..Thx again guys for the comments, u saved alot of us from making a mistake. Solomon

i think this fone is a load of rubbish had it 1 week and its very quiet ,you cant even hear it ring,the battery goes so fast,am having to send it back and get the samsung d600 is meant to be a load better than that

It seems to have a good balance of all features e.g. mp3 player, 1MP camera & Video camera. These features aren't great, but its a PHONE afterall! And its a GREAT phone. I have a Question about the Z500...
I'm thinking of buying one since i had a E700 some time ago and it's the best phone i've had. This seems to be the new kid of the same family, but for 3G.
The e700 had one flaw though, the camera kept taking pictures in my pocket 'cause of the placing of the "trigger"(?). Anyone who owns a z500 and don't use baggy pants that can say if this problem is now taken care of? Thanks.
