hi, a few questions...
just wondering how long you can record video for, and does the camera have zoom? also, last question, is the MP3 sound quality good when you play music or have an mp3 ringtone?

Gaz, does entering that unlock code reset all my settings and delete photos/ringtones/mp3s etc cheers

take your sim card out of samsung z500 .. power up and enter .. *7465625*28782# then *7465625*28638# you just saved £20.............

Leesha you only said your alarm doesn't work you never mentioned anything about the phone loosing time in your other posts else I would have agreed with you.
I find it imposible for a phone to loose time. It doesn't loose time and i believe you just made that up becuase deep down you knew my point was significantly valid and that you're being fussy over the alarm clock so you thought up another fault to substantiate your agurement.

Just got my phone today and it looks very impressive - however how do I bypass the following error "Security Error: Untrusted server certificate" if I know and trust the source. I have tried to disable the certificates under Browser settings but is does not help. I had no problem with my MPX 200 and no problem on the SonyEricsson V800

hi, i know this is probably such a stupid question to many of you, but ive just bought the samsung z500 as my new fone after getting rid of my old E600. That fone was brilliant but didnt have anything like bluetooth or any features like that. I was just wondering how i go about downloading music onto my fone and things like that. sorry guys xx thanks x

go to wap.getjar.com on your browser for java downloads.click on samsung as z500 is not there then 176 x 220 display.managed finally to get a stopwatch and timer.there e reader allsorts just remember gprs data costs?

Supoze after having this phone for 2 weeks now i should have my say about it! I give this phone a 9.5 out of 10. It has a very nice screen i like the little one on the outside as it glows all the time, Good MP3's and MP4 playback. Nice and small easy to use. The video streaming is soo cool and of decent quality for a good priced mobile! Recomended to all those people tossing up between Sony Ericsson V800 (Don't Go There!!) Or the Nokia 6680 Ect Ect.

Hay Gaz youre a great help! When i have put in that code it turned that little G of buy the reception and changed the home URL to the MMS URL! i changed it back and it's all good. Know any other cool codes? Thanks So much! Your the Man

wanted to give one small info in order to increase the duration of the battery, if already it uncovered you have ignored this post
IN ORDER TO CARRY OUT THIS MODIFICATION IT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER In The TECHNICAL MENU, THEREFORE FAIRIES ATTENTION NOT TO VARY OTHER PARAMETERS.
Then entering in the technical menù with code * # 1546792 * #, selected the voice 2 (Network & call setting), then the voice 4 (Service domain), and changed the formulation from "Conbined" to "CS", therefore you press saves and exited from the technical menù.
Cosi making, finishes them colleghera to net GPRS when you make one demanded of navigation wap or only sent some mms.
As confirmation of the happened change you will see that beside the pointer of it marks them the G will appear alone if you are connects to you.
This possibility is gia present on many others cell (Nokia SonyEricsson) from the menu normal, on the Samsung must use this stratagem

i had i long list of codes for samsung phones but i have mislaid it . if i find it i will put more up . yes debs it is terrible when somone can charge £20 for 20 secs work. the guy who did not get sorted , did you administer the code .. with the simcard out of your phone..

hey gaz, you seem the expert 'ere.What do all these funny codes mean.
i'm rather very disappointed with my z500 which has an extremely soft ring volume (even at max)and battery life is poor.
