Precisely mine should be free on an update, though i could have updated 2 months ago , i'd rather wait. It looks like an outstanding phone...hope o2 do the black one :P

Z500 has be out on the market for atleast 3weeks now. You can get any reliable Ebayer to ship them to you. Or I know a Full time retailer (in person) who sells stuff at really low prices, and he's got Z500 in stock. Just put your sim cards in and it will work. If you would like his contacts just let me know.. because Z500 is definately out...and good price too... This guy can beat most US retailers.

i just called vodafone with regarding the release date of the Z500, apparently is now coming out on the 19 june but may be subject to delays.

Just to let you know that vodafone say it was going to be released on the 10th of June.still waiting and my contract ran out 2 months ago.:). Other half has d500 but i want a clam that's the only reason i'm waiting.........

O2 Refuse to give me a date of releaase, my 12 month contract ended this month and im holding on , for the Z500, but i dont know wether i should just upgrade to the D500 if its gonna take like 3months for them to release it

comparing Z500 with Z300
Z500 with MPEG4 player

Does this missing 4 make a difference? i have no idea what it stands for, please help?

Alot of people complain about dark places, my friend has a samsung e330, the flash is really effective!
Plus my phone at the moment which doesnt have flash/zoom and is only VGA.
Prob with my experiences its kinda important.

have u ever had a fone with a flash that was really functional? Most flash functions are no more than a LED; which doesnt produce a flash bright enough to light the whole picture... not a very important function if u ask me.

is 110g heavy? on that Z300? i really like it aswell (thanks for the request)
i would also like to know what is the diff to an o2 genie card and a 3g sim card.
Does it stop these "blank messages" that people complain about?

That would be good except the LG phone linked below is not a 3G phone. Check out the Samsung Z300, its exactly the same spec (just a tad bigger) and it has a flash and is 3G !

Omg there is no flash!! SERIOUSLY!!

I think the Z500 is the best phone in the world! if u r like me and is looking for a small phone with video calling and mp3 player, this is the best phone for you.
For the guy who was comparing it to the E730 - the E730 doesn't have a video calling camera... and that makes all the difference.

additional info: This fone will very likely be available in most vodafone stores in benelux in week 25 (= next week!!)
