Oh my God, don't compare A110 and s300 with the new models, i had a lot of samsung's(p400, v200, e700,e710, z500, z300, d500, e720,e730...)and belive me u can set 2 different appointments, don't compare them with old samsung phones, i'm a samsung lover but i'm a realist 2, i don't think that samsung's perfect but compared with nokia and motorola...???? hmmmmm
Nokia is rubish and so is motorola, i even love sagem better than nokia and motorola, the menu of a nokia is the same since the STONEAGE, i can't stand it and 4 motorola...it's imbarasing, samsung's menu is to colorfull, but it's unique and surelly very elegant

I have to agree with you. The japanese have indeed mastered the art of new technologies and produce the most dependable electronic equipment including mobile phones. Too bad SAMSUNG in made in KOREA!!!

I'm not foolish,I had 2 Samsung models in the past(A110 & s300)I dont say that the menu is not friendly or easy to deal with,I'm just saying that is very poor in comparison to other brands.
For example, in the calendar you cant set 2 different appointments!!

The menu of the samsung phones r great and easy 2 use in compare with other mobile phones and yes they have a low battery life but the samsung software is very up 2 date, very fast without many bugs compared with sony-ericsson, nokia or motorola and don't forget that the japonese have mastered the art of new technologiese (good ones) with tones of interesting things.
In my opinoin there's no such thing of a perfect phone but Samsung does make good, durable and surely the most elegant clamsheel phones in the world with atractive prices, so think abouit it. . . .

Hey, I know you are only fooling around, SAMSUNG software is one of the best in the world, and believe me you people it has the most practical menu ever made.
Bright people are made to explore, SAMSUNG menus are dynamic, meaning it has to be explored or once it is there, you have to create it, LOL to those who are pampered with easy menus for they cannot express them selves especially poor little being, Giannis-Greece.

Samsung always had problems with battery life.From the age of the monochrome displays till now,this company seems unable to create a phone with good battery life.Also seems unable to enhance the software of the devices.I mean that the menu is very very poor espesialy in messages and in calendar,Despite all these,I like Samsung because of the quality of the products and for the style.But the only way to buy a Sansung's mobile is WITHOUT Samsung software(let's say with Windows mobile or Symbian OS)
This phone looks good,very good.But I thing it will never came in Europe or in Greece.

I am looking for a new fone, but i have no idea where to start looking. At the moment i have a samsung C100, and its really thin. This means that every fone i look at seems really fat! does anyone have any ideas on where i can start looking?

the samsung phones have a low battery life because of the great display, i had a lot of samsungs, even a z500 and a z300 and the battery life was a day and a half because a phoned a lot and played a lot of mp3's, the 3g call thakes a lot of battery, but u can manage, the GSM samsung phones are great and the 3g samsung phones are even better, 4 questions email me

a good phone indeed but the only concern i have is the battery life. the z500 is a power thirsty phone with a 1.3 MP camera, wht abt this 1, it has a 3 MP camera... overall samsung phones are power thirsty i guess....

Don't get what all the fuss about this phone is. It's not a patch on the d600
Data speed is poor and no mp3 availability
