n90 is comparable at pictures with d600 although d600 hasn't got autofocus.. have you seen the picture on both phones? from 2mpx to 3mpx is a major difference. nokia accepted the fact that their phones make lame photos and called carl z. nokia tech and carl lenses.. they don't look very nice sincerly they are not clear. samsung makes his lens for a long time it makes cameras digicams and e730 and d500 make very good photos although they have cmos. if p850 or z700 will have ccd camera adios comparison with other cam phones although samsung is known for best pictures in the camphone market. this camera will be THE BEST and extremly comparable with digicams. n90 looks big it s heavy and if looks sensitive,i mean the rotating camera, nice screen rez though.

both screens on the n90 have higher resolution than the sreens on the z700 plus the n90 has carl zeiss optics , that will make it as good as the z700 's 3mp camera :)!!!!!!!!

the only bad part about this phone that i really care about is thta it doesnt have mp3 ringtones :( !!!!!!!!!!

The N90 clearly can beat this phone, regardless of vibration. The N90 is Symbian operated so that means you can have more games and applications then this Z700. "but the Z700 has a 3 MP camera" i hear u say? who cares! the N90 has Carl Ziess Optics, and carl ziess is world renouned and used in delicate ways like lazer eye surgery.
The N90 in my eyes has won Hands Down!!

This is a great phone,no doubt about it, but I think the Nokia N90 can compete with just about every function that the Z700 has, including Bluetooth. I have an SE Z800i at the moment, and this Samsung is a major step forward from that, no question, but the only edge the Z700 has over the N90 seems to be in the 3MP camera, but without a decent lens it may not deliver top pics....on the other hand it may!

Its the best 3G phone anounced so far,great sound, great display, great cam,good dimensions,at last bluetooth item transfer etc etc
Nokia N90 and SE Z800 cant compete with that,but as long as Samsung doesnt lunch it, it gives them time for the counter attack!

I'm interested in comparing the Z700 with the forthcoming Nokia N90. The design ethos seems to be quite similar, with a kind of 60's spy movie look to both phones.
Specifically, the Samsung has a 3MP camera, but of course a higher megapixel count does not necessarily mean better picture quality. I'm wondering whether the Karl Zeiss optics on the N90, or the 3MP on the Z700 will make for a better camera quality overall.
Any thoughts?

this and p850 is the best phone any questions?
the diff to p850 is that z700 is 10g heav with 3g capab. personally i think 3g is for really big businessman who REALLY NEED IT. it will be expensive anyway. z700 as p850 is 22mm thick 26mm is at the back were the camera sticks out.this phone is almost perfect. it is rather small to. i heard that
it could have 3D graphic acel but it coulld be only for us series. video rec will be mp4 350x but i am not shure and there are chances it will be qcif i saw those specs but i am sure that sam will change that by the end of this year also camera is the best before p860. if you look at d600 photos taken close (because d600 hasn't auto focus and the ones taken far are blurry) you will se good pictures and you can imagine the difference 2mpx to 3mpx auto focus also it has big leses and MOST IMPORTANT it has protection for scrathces dust etc. with a opne/close small cover. if you see other picures you can see a small button similar to trans flash covers... in conclusion this is my perfect phone and want to get for my 18'th anniversary.. you are all invited ;)

T-Flash = it's half of the size of your simcard...memory capacity 512 mb maxium available...
MMC = twice the size of RS-MMC & Sim card, 2 gig is available...i think

I think this phone is WICKED! Some of you are complaining about the most silliest things. If you are that bothered about not having a radio on your phone then get a NOKIA or buy a radio! If you are so annoyed that this phone doesn't have tvout buy your self a camcorder and link it to the tv (same thing). Nowadays some of you expect too much from phones. You expect them to all have radios, tv out, mega mega pixel cameras, mp3 players, biomass indicators, what next tv's. If you lot wnat all these things go and but them.
This phone is expected to be out around the end of the year on contractand pay as you go. If you want it sim free, it is going to cost you a HELL of a lot of money!!!

The major different for Z700 and P850 os Z700 is a 3G phone and P850 not.
Z700 with UMTS support, P850 not.
