On come on yar its a time of new technology like bluetooth who cares about infrared(old technology) oVERALL IT WILL BE the best from Samsung...im waiting for that cell to arrive soon....

oh i like this cell so much(not so much as you re thinking)but where is the infrared port i miss it,but is a nice n coll cell

I Consider Sonyericsson the father of all phones but this time im really disappointed with the design of K800. There is,nt any doubt about its performance but design sucks.Well on other hand Samsungs Z710 Is Gr8 with beautiful design. Im exteremly waiting 4that phone 2arrive.Why Samsung is still waiting....Can anybody tells me when this phone will arrive...?

CAN Someone just warn samsung that looking through websites and shops, stores and whatever that samsung is sooooooo behind that theyr not in any top lists of phones and stuff

Samsung really need to bring this phone out now - they have stiff competition on the market now.
If they fail to bring it out in a month or so, it will be too late. Many of the current phones are at this standard. Samsung are falling behind the 8 ball.

SAMSUNG has nothing to show to SE and NOKIA fans but the extremely stylish design,.. all other aspects are inferior in comparison to the best of SE and NOKIA
NOKIA phones are brick, SE phones are Boring, but excels much in features and communications, that's the truth,.. and the worst of all phones is Motorola(that's because of my painful experience with it)...

SAMSUNG Z710 looks awesome! currently using V3X... : ( extremely dissapointed with motorola this time : ( I love samsung & never tried Sony E.. but thinking about getting the W850 .....I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE ...

theres one thing i have noticed about samsung phones first d800 has a 1.3mp dand then samsung released e900 with 2.0mp and now d900 will be out soon this july or aug. with 3mp. Now notice that camera stength is going up everytime 1.3 2.0 3.0 well i am expecting z710 to come out on the 4th week of aug or sometime during sept.

Also,
k800 may win when it comes to headphones but if you haven't noticed,most k-series phones don't have 3.5 jacks.That's because k-series phones were meant to play music through loudspeaker mainly to play music while using the internet.If you want a music phone just get a walkman.

well said gagbag!i dnt know about this tarantula..K800i's design sucks..it's plain square & bulky, there's no argument about that..Z710 may not match-up with the features, but still, it has d features u can find in K800i..i dont hate SE, my previous W550i is great..and i wont be surprised if i get a W810i after a few months when its price dropped..but in K800i, there's nothing special about it..really..

As said about 100 times before*gasp*K800 IS A PHONE FOR PEOPLE WHO PUT FEATURES FIRST!We all know k800 wins in features.What you fail to understand is that although k800 is loaded,it is bulky and looks quite boring.Comparing k800 to z710 is like comparing n93 to slvr.When people see z710 and k800 side by side for the first time the majority of people will go for z710.We both know that.I am an SE fan but i'm sorry to say that i'm too dissappointed with the k800 design to even bother to purchase it.

First of all, you will have arguments to say that SE phones are a garbaje.
You must known that sony dont make phones, the company that make phones is a joint venture between sony and ericsson and named sony ericsson.
Ericsson is a leader in wireless tech, and for it have the most list of patents in the world, follow by nokia
Ericsson sells technology to your beloved samsung, sells circuits maps, wireless tech (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, Bluetooth), and like samsung other manufacturers buy tech from ericsson like LG, sagem, etc.
Your beloved Bluetooth is an ericsson invention in SIG (Special Interest Group), ericsson develop this tech and brings bluetooth phones long time ago (the excellent ericsson T39m)
The clamshell and slider design were first in motorola and siemens respectively, isnt a samsung property and i say that motorola make a revolution with RAZR series, for it samsung, LG and others follow this successful design.
You have your own tastes, but overall K800 is a better phone than Z710
