When the sharp 703 plays mp3, are them limited to 192kbit/s.

I cant hear mp3 as music??? So I just can hear wma like music????

The phone will definately play mp3's as ringtones. (not wma's I've seen load of customers who don't realise that a wma isn't an mp3). You need to put the mp3 file into phone memory, then you should be able to set it as a tone. This also works for video files (.3gp)

I got this phone from my aunt from japon. it's realy great, however the phone is always asking for update. where can I get one? and it's in japanes. how can I convert it to english? hope you guys can help...

Hello i have near about 500 java games can anyone tell me where i need to save to run tha games if any one want games just mail me i send u free full game.
mp3 ring tones assighn only from handset memory not from memory card.
its a wounderfull set.

wait Mark u say it can play mp3 as ringtones??? cause i am thinking off getting one for myself an i was wondering it can play mp3 for ringtones.. u sure its able to play just to confrim before i decide in getting it...

Hi Sanford.
The phone will play MP3 files fine, and you can set them as ring tones too. however if you download copy protected tracks, (from vodafone Live) you will not be able to set these as ring tones.
As for converting video the best program I have found is Canopus Procoder 2. You can set the size and quality to how you want it.

well this phone u gotta convert the musix files into MP4 cause it wont take mp3 cause of copyright and what not.i was just wondering does anyone know what's a good video converter for this phone i have one but it really bad quality

guys.. please let me know how can i erase old msgs and pix from this fone.. its really annoying i cant even recieve msgs but the good thing it can send how weird is a 1 way.. is this normal? god !@!!@#%$
