this phone is fantastic! however, I have the Japanese phone (703SHf) in the US and was wondering how to get connected to the internet or how to remove the pesky "do you want to update bla bla bla" everytime I press a key. any help would be appreciated. thnx.

Very important for developpers : this mobile doesn't manage correctly the callSerially() JAVA method.

hi, i want to change my mobile phone which is k 700i and is very cool though. i was thinking about buying this set but i have some questions regarding the set, like does it only support vodafone service or we can use any other mobile server?

i had an upgrade version of this cellphone the Sharp 703SHF..and im satisfied with it's performance but the only problem is i can't convert it to Phil. setting so i can't use my MP3 and Mp4 as my ringtone

in 3g network ,not in gsm networin,

Is there any possible way to install Java Games or Applications on this phone, due to the fact that the Sharp 903 phone has a trick thats possible to do such things. If possible please adivise or tell us how it is possible.

703SH is the normal version of the phone
SHf is the enhanced ver by adding FeLica
wallet, and QR bar code scanning and reading.
wonder how much sms can store in this phone????

Hello, I have a couple questions about the 703SH and 703SHF. Hope someone can help:
1. T9 does english T9 works?
2. SD audio: what mp3 files can I put on the SD card, basic mp3 or better like 192kbps and higher?
3. EQ: is there an equalizer for mp3 playback?

i want to ask to make sure. aac format from itunes is .m4a but from dbpower the aac is .aac . i think the difference in file extension makes the difference.

this phone is whack,its just too simple to be called a phone its like a freaking calculator that can make calls.lol well at least u tried but u need to take this off tha market n try making a better phone ok get ma point its too simple man.

i just got this phone and loving it because it's green but one thing disappointed me. i thought this phone was originally in japanese.. however, the dealer where i got it from said the he ordered the phone from hk and they programmed it into chinese.. does anyone know how i can get it in jap again? send it back? and also.. the games in the phone doesn't work somehow, is it caused of the chinese programming or it's manufactured like this?? thank for this your time reading this and if you have the solutions to my problems.. please email me.. thank you

Hi! I just got my Sharp 703SHf last week. I've read previous posts about using acc. as ringtone (mp3 to aac from iTunes). I tired many times and it still doesn't work. I have a short clip (.aac format) that is copyrighted and works as ringtone. When I rename the song I want with the name of the copyright clip, it still does not work. Is there anyone who can help me out?

You must put the mp3 file in the phone memory, not in the memory card... this way will allow you to set the file as ringtone in options menu :D
