        to skater, i've played already the mp3 converted to .wav to .mmf using WSD by Yamaha. but the song is not complete and has to be cut(trimmed) up to 300KB. Is there a way that this phone can be downloaded by a mp3 software so we can save more songs that are complete?..

          mark, tnx bro for the help...@ to all: regarding mp3, ive succesfully converted mp3-wav-mmf but the file cannot read by the phone. I understand that the phone can only read up to 300kb @192kbps. any help to reduce or convert the bytes and kbps of a certain mp3 song? I want to have mp3. My friend has SE Vodaphone Z800 and the MP3 played excellent,he just copy the mp3 file from PC to its memory card and it plays. Is Sharp 903 already available here in Phils.?

            @noli

            after you configured the settings just have ur gprs activated.just send MMS ON to 333
            and GPRS ON to 333.

            @noel

            i tried sending pictures from my 802 to another phone through mms and it was ok. i havent tried sending one to my phone yet. try sending an mms to ur self and if it was sent successfully and you received it successfully then there should be no problem in doing that with other phones. just make sure that their phones are also mms capable and active. about ur phone book, you have to edit all of the entries in your phone book. scroll over one entry then click OPTIONS, then EDIT, then scroll over READING, then type there the name you would like to tagged on that entry. you'll only do that everytime you copy an entry from ur sim card to ur phone memory. but if you save an entry directly to the phone memory then you dont have to do the editing. remember that the READING is case sensitive. it will affect the order of the entries. what i did is that all entries in my phone book are all in small caps because all entries that starts with a capital letter will be the first on the list regardless of the alphabetical order. hope this will help you...=D

When im sending MMS, the message was succesfully sent and it goes to the sent items folder(unlike before it was marked as message failed to send and goes to unsent folder). however, it was not received by receiver. Ive tried also sending my phone via MMS by other phone and I did not receive also the MMS message. Any help pls.?...thanks..

                      hey noel, regarding your querry on phonebook arrangement, make sure that the names are arranged based on first names. make sure that entries are all in the first names. also, don't use special characters (different cases; small CAPS, followed by big CAPS, etc,) it will affect the arrengement.

                        mark, pls help me also arrange my phonebook lists. it is not arranged alphabetically so i find it hard to use this phone thru text since you have to browse one by one in the lists the person you will be sending a message. i think there were only three options to select, 1. reading order 2. by group 3. by katakana. Ive tried all of these and it still cannot arranged alphabetically. how can i go over this? your help shall be appreciated very much. thanks.

                          hi mark. i followed step by step the mms and gprs setting that you have posted. then when i go for mms and gprs activation, the service provider asks to indicate the actual model of the phone. do i need to indicate this actually? for example: SET MMS 802SH then send to 211. then MMS ON to 333. as far i know, nokia, sony erricson, and other supported phones are only applicable for this. other sharp phones models are not included i think. ive called up smart customer service and they said this kind of phone cannot be unlocked by them and we can only use this phone thru SMS messaging and voice calling only. another thing, when im replying to a message, the message i write is automatically classified as MMS message. As a result, it fails to send. What i do is to exit and go to create new message to classify the message as SMS message then it sends. Have you able to send a picture via MMS and WAP tones via Bluetooth?. Coz my phone cannot receive WAP tones only ring tones,created videos and pictures.maybe i should activate MP3 setting.Can you help me bro? thanks..

                                      I've just bought a hacked 802SH and i'm having the same problems with GPRS like many people.
                                      I was told that there is a new firmware coming up that could fix all those issues.
                                      Has anyone heard of such thing?

                                        well said marc. this phone is great. i still love this phone and will continue using it even without its gprs/mms services. with the network providers' limitations here in the philippines, i guess its understandable to have gprs/mms problems. best CAMERA!!!! excellent features. i too plan to upgrade to 903 in the nxt few months....
