Re: Timed profiles. You can set a profile (e.g. "Silent" ) to expire after a certain period of time so it goes back to the default profile (e.g. General). This feature is on Nokia Series 40 handsets.

video is above average....
all videos taken by camera phones are not as good as they should be... if u watch the vids on the phone, its in good quality....but on the computer...its kinda bad....bcoz the framerate is lowered in the video mode...

im not Biggs btw...
the shop i always go to is called "TofuDick shop".... and i dun work there...im just recommending u...thats all...i saw that their service is quite good so i bought my 903sh and 707sc there.....
the 903sh are all unlocked already....
the $3700~~ is just the renew version 903sh...which only includes a charger, batt and a phone....so u have to think twice...
a fulll new set is about $4400-$4600...

This phone is not officially available in malaysia and so as many other countries..but you can definitely find it if you spend some time looking for it...better try going to low yat,sungai wang etc...those popular gadgets mall in KL to find it.you can get a AP but original set.Mine was bought in lowyat through a friend and it cost me a 1.5k only as i bought it through friends.normal price is about 1.8k~2k.And haha it only costs abt RM600 in japan.

thanks Biggs, where is the shop you always go to buy phones? is it sitll 3700$? or is it lowered and is it unlocked? because i just want the phone and buy the accessores seperately..

have u tried pressing it half way...gently? coz it should work... ^^
3a) the optical zoom (zooms once) is already equal to the 2x optical zoom.....

1) Question about,

What does J500 in v1.046 (J500) stand for?

It's still not working for me in traditonal camera mode. After pressing the green shutter button either halfway or fully, the green [] appears and the picture is immediately taken (shutter sound is heard). The option to "Save" or "Cancel" then appears. Is this how the autofocus should work? I have my picture settings set to max (i.e. 3.2MP, Superfine, Autofocus).
3a) Since my picture settings are set to max, when I use optical zoom, it only zooms once (rather than 2x optical zoom). Is this normal?
4) Is there timed profiles?

Sharp RULLES as of the ones asking for setting a home page, I have used Opera Mini tm. on my Sharp 902 and it works a charm full size web viewer that supports pretty much everything including set your default page and much more... SHARP ROCKS, NOKIA..... ;)

1) I mean, can you can remove/put back the miniSD card while the phone is turned on?
2) That's too bad. However, the original owner did manage to change it. So does it mean it can only be changed the first time and that's it?
3) Thanks, it works!
4) If the flip is open, pressing the green "Call" button would activate the autofocus (i.e. a green "crosshair" shows up on the screen but does not snap the photo).
5) If using the traditional camera position, pressing the green "Shutter" button (on the top-right edge) either halfway or fully immediately takes a photo. It does not show the green "crosshair" on the screen. Am I doing it correctly?

i assume u want to get 1st hand... the range would be about $3500hkd to $4600hkd...
why is the range that big? no reason coz there are a whole lot of shops there selling @ different prices...thats competition...
more info for u, im sure uv scroll down to see that i wrote that there are 903sh which are "renew"...they cost about $3800 or lower... whats included? a brand new phone (new cover and motherboard)..battery and a charger...and a year's warranty...thats all...
alot of people prefer this than buying a new full set...
the shop i always go to is selling @ $3700 (renew) and $4600 (fully new)

a phone, battery, charger, two books (japanese), 64mb sharp mini sd, mini sd adapter, handfree and a year's warranty...
thats all i can tell u, u may think about it...

100% unlocked, u can get the Jap, Taiwan, HK and Euro versions...
if u want to know the differences between these versions, scroll down or go to page two for more details...
the only place u can get the phone is in Sincere Mobile phone plaza (先達)... located in Mong Kok (旺角) Exit B and walk straight...

3) Options...Advanced...Multiple Select...then press Options again...Select All
4) If u r using the phone like a camera, gently press the green button half way...
if u r using the other way, if u want it just to focus, press the call out button once and itll focus only....

there are still stock available but limited... it doesnt have to be 833, it could be 903sh (any colour)..833 is only in red and full black (the front doesnt have "vodafone" on it.... i suggest u not to get the "smartone-vodafone" (833) phones coz they are not the original 903sh....
overall, both 903sh and 833 are still available in hong kong....not sure about later ^^"
