smartone has stopped the import of 903sh...they are on to SX633...
u can get a 903 in the sincere plaza...a mobile phone mall....
the full set 903 is @ $4400~~
the renew version is only @ $3800~~
include a phone, charger and a batt
There is NO radio in this phone =.=

eventhough it has been out since 05', the price stays almost the same even. I think it's because you can't really find the similar typical "japanese-style" cellphone from other brands in the market(maybe toshiba has one that's closer enough, but toshiba is even difficult to find compared to sharp outside asia); and of course the company that exclusively carrys in Sharp 903 (outside japan) has the control of this monopoly price. If you want it, you have no choice but paying this unreasonable price unless you can get one directly from japan and have them unlocked. Sharp 903 is really not that pricey in Japan even when they just came out; no more than $300 for a brand new one. I personally own a Sharp T-91(taiwan's verson of 903); it was $750 last August(2006) and maybe $650 for now.

super phone except the ringingtone, one cannot hear even when it sets to full. please advice me in this connection whether how I could correct this problem.Is there a possibility to down loard the software.Infact I emaild the same question to Mr.Nicholas but sad to say no reply. Hope this time I will receive a reply.

tis phone is onlya vodafone exclusive so you can only have them in vodafone
tis phone is too old and wasn't a success so no point of having more
tis phone alreafy has a new version called 904 but bec of the above reason it didn't reached the outside shores ofjapan
when tis phone was 1st released it was too expensive and i think up till now ^_^
sharp isn't too well known in most countries and again its a voda exclusive
i think i should have answeredur shitsummon (questions) ^_^

Thank you so much. You are very insightful and helpful. The phone Im gonna buy is the euro version I think but its kool. I dont really need themes if its only three anyway not customizeable. I have a v3x and I love it but I just want a better screen and stereo sound and this phone looks much classier. The 1GB should be sufficient since all I really use is low-quality pics and mp3 tones. I really wanted a phone that I could access Yahoo though... This should be decent enough though. I dont really like the shutter sound though so ya know thats not a problem. As long as the phone has a simple UI and is friendly then Im cool.

max capacity is 1GB
there are basically 4 versions of the fw, HK sx833, taiwan, japanese and Euro....
hksx833, the worst fw ever made, no mp3 ringtone and no changable themes and not vodafone theme, the menu is just...RED! able to use the AAC ringtones (similar to mp3) as ringtones just by using the name changing method :P
taiwan, mp3 ringtones, non-changeable themes and a mixture of hk and taiwan versions and different icon locations..which means when the icon says connectivity, it will be settings......its not bugs...its bcoz it is following the hk system but a taiwan interface
japanese version, changeable theme, thank god, only three themes to choose, not able to add more :S
no mp3 ringtones but mmf ringtones....
euro...non changable thems....mp3 ringtones....

Thanks. There is no MSN but there is Yahoo & AIM.. Perfect!! What is the highest capacity card the phone can take?
Also what version phone is the Vodafone brand? SX833 or v903SH.. there are too many versions.. I just want the phone that enables me to do everything including change themes. So help me out... thanks.
