I was really amaze bout this phone. Everyting your looking for a perfect SMARTPHONE, Sharp AQUOS 941SH have it all. The design was so elegant, the camera, the screen resolution was very very good. This just like an combination of IPHONE 3GS & Sony Ericsson S003. Nice one Sharp. Hope this phone will be released here in Philippines. I'll be the first to grab it.

I hope that Sharp and other japanese companies can sell 1seg phones in the Philippines since the country will use the 1seg for mobile broadcast and ISDB-t for terrestrial

it's a shame that this phone is only for the japanese market. if it being allowed to be sold in other countries (especially mine's, Malaysia) it sure will be an instant hit (sigh)

coooorrrr if thats how you pronounce it,, button fones with design and colour and all we get in the west is slabs/tablets thats all our manufacturers chuck out all in an attempt to copy that stupid i-phone..Bring your luscious goods to uk even if its just one fone clamshell to break the monotony of what we get..

These phones are tailor-made for Softbank, the Japanese carrier. It contains too much specific electronics that would not work overseas such as mobile wallet, TV tuner and such. In order to re-engineer the phone to sell overseas, it would involve more effort than it's worth.
I personally own a SH906i, using it with Rogers, so I have firsthand experience with the awesomeness of Sharp mobile phones. It's definitely worth it.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2010What OS does it use though?I think Java, but I am not 100% sure. All the Ntt Docomo phones are smartphones! Fujitsu and SHarp use Symbian OS, Nec and Panasonic Linux OS.
