you need to use vpn app to update phone to android 10 out side japan , great phone with fantastic screen of 120hz ,sad to see all these armchair warriors bashing sharp for their advansed screen tech , get a job so you can afford to buy one of these phones ,

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2021hi, first of all I am not sharp fanboy or anything like th... moreBruv first of all it's 100hz not 120hz and when you play games it does not render at 2k it's very high resolution for sd845 and if you turn on 90 FPS it won't even last 10 minutes before it starts to throttle and FPS fall well below 60. Unlike PCs where high refresh rate reduces input lag, it doesn't have any effect on the latency whether you're on 60hz or 100hz. As for the other phones either you install custom ROM or not, their UI is so much optimized and have really better thermals. So even if you go for a year older flagship than r2, you'll get a lot better camera, a panel with less input lag, an optimized UI with better thermal management. Add a custom ROM or a kernel, you'll be amazed by the performance.
The 120hz display and sd845 is just a marketing gimmick and young people like me with a little budget fall for it and then realize the mistake. But if somebody likes it they can get, I'm not forcing anyone I just posted my personal experience with this phone.

Also it sometimes heats way too much and as summers are coming it heats even more but when I'm in a cool environment and 90%+ battery it would just give a random stutter out of nowhere and I'm not certain when will it happen, could be 3-4 times or sometimes never.

hi, first of all I am not sharp fanboy or anything like that.in fact this is my first sharp phone.
but I really dont get it,why would any people recommend poco f1,lg g7,google pixel 2, oneplus 5t instead of this sharp r2?
is it because they are more stable in pubg? but all of those phone are 60hz screen.so when playing pubg gonna playable at just 60fps right? snapdragon 845 played in 60hz with like in example poco f1 1080p screen and you compare its performance with sharp r2 which normally people gonna play in 2k screen + 120hz screen on + 90 fps setting pubg ?
in example that poco f1 is 1080p compare that with this sharp 2k screen. less resolution = less processing power required = less dips in fps ingame = less heat produce = less performance loss because of overheat.
the solution is to change this sharp r2 resolution to like that poco f1, let it play in same resolution and then compare.
and this sharp r2 generate more heat when 120hz on. thats a reasonable thing that happen with this 120hz.you can use cooling gamepad or for example myself played in air condition (ac) room to make it not that hot. so you can make sure to minimize overheat problem that effect fps.
I mean comparing phone which limited to 60hz to this cheap 120hz phone is just not fair.this sharp r2 can produce 90ish fps in game pubg you know.it is not those 60fps gaming you get with those other phone.
just a my piece of mind, no hard feeling please.

Does anyone find A way To enter fastboot Mode On R2?or any Way To Root Or unlock Bootloader?
