Does anyone find A way To enter fastboot Mode On R2?or any Way To Root Or unlock Bootloader?

    my R2 still at android 9, and as far as I remember I dont think I notice of what you mentioned.So I guess that android 10 update really kill this phone performance yeah.


    In regards for overheating, I didn't get any noticeable lag when I played pubg (been a while though,not sure with new update). Maybe because I almost always use cooling fan gamepad when I played pubg.I think it help the phone from overheating? or maybe because I exclusively only use Wifi when gaming? or maybe because I downgrade the default screen resolution to 720p/1080p 120hz when playing game?


    but I did recall stuttering when I tried playing genshin impact 60 fps mode,but sadly I dont remember did I use cooling gamepad or not and with what settings haha
    but it is genshin impact,a pc/console grade graphic game playable in this phone.and if this 3 years old phone pushing to the limit and then overheat I am not complaining haha.

    So in conclusion for people who want to buy this phone:

    Android 10 is bad,,,,it introduce lag when battery below 30℅, and also overheat problem,touch issue ?

    (based on my experience)
    Android 9 is the best OS for this R2,it is not the newest,but it is well optimized.

    these japanese phone usually doesnt have custom rom available, so make sure you pick the right OS installed before you buy this phone.

    Consider to buy (cheap)fan cooling gamepad for long time gaming session,and if you want to play genshin impact 60fps mode,consider buying more advance (expensive) cooling pad such as that 'blackshark freezing coolingpad' ( I dont remember its name,sorry)

    use wifi over mobile data, mobile data generate more heat on long session gaming.

    try to decrease your screen resolution when gaming should be a valid thing too, I guess?

        Just look it Poco F1, with a custom ROM frame drops just go away let alone the stutters and the it performs much more stable

I try to scratch it but ... moreYep it's glass and I broke it 😁 and as for the all laggy stuff I was complaining about it was in January when there was no chance of overheating and this phone would just give microstutter when a encountering even 1 enemy even my S8 (which was sd835) was better in touch response, S8 used to lag in competitive matches but r2 performs better but those microstutters here and there every time ruin the experience. I'm a heavy user with 4 Gmail accounts always on sync with barely 5-7gb free storage. Switching apps is also sometimes stuttery not every time. I just feel that Samsung and OnePlus have better thermals and optimization.

                Is the back of the phone is glass? I try to scratch it but the back still clean good I have a silicon case so I hope it doesn't break. Yea for the comment a saw below it kinda lag or low fps when there's enemy nearby maybe bcuz it hot after long period of gaming. Im still on Android 9 and has bloatware in it idk if it void a warranty if I remove it. I got 6 months warranty from online store atleast...

                      I have this phone for like 2.5 months and here's my experience.
                      Now for pubg, it lags like hell even on smooth+extreme it lags if your battery is below 30% but the problem is fixed as soon as you plug charger in, but again it starts to lag if the temperature rises. To get the best experience your battery should be above 80% and as summers are coming ceiling fan also helps. I won't advice you to buy other cheap SD 845 phones like Xperia xz2 they have many problems. If you can find go for older OnePlus 5/5T or Google pixel 2 as they have much better software and optimization. There's a reason why Poco F1 or OnePlus 6T are expensive that's because they have much better optimization than this phone. You can check on YouTube where with corvus Rom and kernel on Poco F1 the game even on hot drops stays between 55-60 FPS while on r2 it lags like hell even on close encounter with a single person the FPS drops to 50 and if there's a whole squad it goes well below 40. Now for the touch response many people consider Samsung devices to be bad for gaming but actually they're better than sharp. The touch response rate is very high and if there are many enemies around you it worsens while Samsung had much lower touch response than r2.
                      Now for the camera it's ok but not too good and the ultra wide camera is a mere gimmick it's just a little bit wide. Video recording works good on 1080@30fps but at 60fps the quality degrades like hell so it's better to stay on 30fps. The HDR sometimes produces really good pictures but it's a hit or miss also it doesn't work if battery is below 30% it keeps processing and then crash. The front camera is really bad the pics have very less details and pictures are fuzzy. I have a small goatee (not much thick), the camera makes it look like I have nothing there lol even my old galaxy note 3's front cam which is 2mp shows my goatee while this 16 is just pure crap.
                      As for the battery it's like every other flagship phone. On 100hz I get around 4.5 to 6 hours SOT and on 60hz it goes up to 6-7.5 hours.
                      The display is not too bright. In sunlight even on max brightness I have trouble seeing the display. I couldn't even find icons sometimes. But that's the case if you're outdoors and the sun is right above you.
                      But considering the price it's a really good phone but I'd advice everyone who's considering to get this phone to save up and get something like LG G7 or Poco F1 or pixel 2 and get them custom kernels and ROMs but don't get this phone because after buying it you'll be thinking that it was a waste of money, I could saved more for a better device.

                            Finally got this phone the performance was superb my friend is lagging with his Redmi 9 while me 60fps all the time (mostly) just the phone itself become quite hotter than my friend one and the battery as u can expect not the best. Now I can play emulator at higher speed
