      Supposedly it's encrypted they say, but don't ya know that the server also has the key?
      You remember getting gmail and constantly getting ads on it? It means somebody is scanning your files.

It's all to suck more money out of us and you can't do anything about it. That's the ugly truth. Make use of this time and buy a Sony Xperia smartphone while they still have these features on their smartphones, cause it might not take long for them to drop the card slot and headphone jack too.

Yeah, no thanks, I'll pass. I'd rather lost my files rather than paying for cloud. Also, the internet connection here is bad, even in the capital city.

              There's a time I want to use my headphone while at the same time charging my phone. And NO don't give me that dongle suggestion. That's a huge hassle, and such thing can be prevented if the company actually cared about the minority of its consumers. Next time they'll remove the charging port and you guys will say "jUsT uSe wiReLesS cHarGiNg"

                    But the conclusion is that companies are killing sd and moving towards cfexpress and manipulating the market and consumers. Yeah rich people can always get something customized science it's possible but there is nothing for commoners.
                    And you instead of saying "why companies don't make faster sd?" saying "cloud is faster." also not everyone needs speed like you. Yet it feels like you don't care and are trying to increase cloud sales.
                    If you care so much about speed then why don't you say, "Eh! Why is it still usb 3?usb 5 is coming." That way you will be able to put an m.2 in your phone which is smaller than 2.5 inch ssd and is faster than 5g, has less latency than 6g and will power clouds in the future.

                    Google gives 2TB 1year cloud free for there phones. But after 1 year you might be trapped. Many people say they are sticking with old pixels for unlimited photo backup. But Google is not gonna revive this service. It was to create market. And now many people are using new pixels. Because they like it or they are changing phone every year. Free 2TB cloud. But who knows when pixels will stop this offer too. But by then there will be more loyal customers.

                    It proves that companies can do if they try. And they they try what they like. They don't sell what people want. They make people want to buy their products. If they want they can kill 6g and revive sd. But the difference is that you cannot use 6g if companies don't want you to. But you can us sd with older devices.

There are a plethora of streaming apps out there, if you can't afford such a cheap subscription maybe you shouldn't be splurging on a phone? Games? Unless you're playing Genshin on this, most games don't take up that much space.

                      Headphone Jack; Just buy wireless headphones. Don't want to? USBC DAC EZPZ. Don't give me that BS "audiophile" argument. 1) you wouldn't be using a phone to listen to music if you were an "audiophile". 2) USBC DACs sound better than EVERY phone currently released.
                      The ONLY good argument for wanting a headphone jack on your phone is if you have an older car and only have an AUX cable. But again, that is a very niche market to justify extra cost/space/programing.

                        Like i said small company usually our stores are 4x4 metres or up to 6x6 small enough for one person per store.
                        About my home internet i was right with 1200 megabytes per second download speeds.
                        And like i said no SD card no matter the brand is faster.

                            And 1.25GB/s is the theoretical maximum of 5g. Meaning you are either someone who has a high position in the society, possibly benefits from big companies
                            Or you actually have 1.2gb/s. In that case how come 1.2gb/s is faster than 64gb/s. Are you using apple math? And do you think 6g will be faster than pcie Gen 7. And there is UCIe. Although UCIe is not used for storage directly they will be.
                            And you didn't answer what powers 5g and 6g to achieve that high speed. Cloud's are actually servers storing data locally. It might not be local to you but it is stored in a location. M.2 and U.2 use x4 link. And NVMe sd cards use x2 link. Meaning cloud's can provide faster speed without using raid0. But that's not beneficial to companies. As I said most servers use sata or scsi. And among them most use HDD instead of SSD.
                            Sure companies are moving towards faster speed. But by then there would be even faster storage solutions. If speed is your consern you should consider sd or m.2 x4. Both of which are not available for mobile devices.
                            You are like a paradox. Instead of urging the companies to give faster storage storage solutions to people you are telling people to expensive slow cloud. PCIe 5 is available and faster than 5g. But 6g is not available. This phone doesn't even specify wether it's ufs 3 or 4. But I don't see you saying Iphone is faster (Iphone's use NVMe. But they also don't specify which Gen. Probably 3 or 4.)
                            You need to pay for the internet and storage saperetly. And commoner don't want it. There are already so many subscriptions (movies =Netflix, pluto, hulo, Disney, applet etc, music, food delivery, transport etc sectors all have subscription system. And more sectors are entering subscription system. And there is even tier system.) you are just sitting high up there taking a cut from other people's income and paying for 10gb/s. You can't understand commoners.

Today you can play games on both SD cards and cloud. You can watch 8k movies on both. Not mention phone's don't have USB/thunderbolt 4(40gb/s) let alone USB 5(80gb/s) or thunderbolt 5(120gb/s). And you are fine with it.                                         Most Middle income people want a flagship phone with cheap storage, headphones and charger. It's good if charger and headphones are included. But most phone's no longer have a headphone in box. And Sony doesn't even has a charger in the box. And it's not like Sony is giving good hardware although that don't have good software. The terrible packageing can be accepted since you are not going to use the packet. But these factors combined with price makes it a no choice for middle income person. And most consumers on earth are Middle income person.
                                        But rumors about upcoming sony phones are looking promising. But other companies are not relaxing.
                                        I also like sony phones. It's not like there phones don't sell. We just need to save a little more money before we buy our next phone's. But most are not willing to. Which is good. Otherwise I don't know how much sony or 3rd parties will change.
                                        But there is still hope. In the past few years it was only Samsung and Asus making small phone's after apple left. Then asus also left. Although 6.3 is not 5.9 or 6.1 we are seeing a backward trend. In fact vivo x200 pro mini is better than x200 spec wise. Because it is pro so they they made it better than the non pro. Google also made pro and pro XL. Although weirdly even after having the same processor the pro scores low compared to XL by a big gap(yeah other phones with same processors also show the the same trend. But the gap is not that big in their case. Take for example xiaomi). Also EU is making various laws that that benefit consumers. If these trends continue we may as well see sd and 3.5mm and included headphones in standard flagships in the future. But nothing is sure for now.
                                        And lastly only rich can vote with there wallet. Poors only vote when things get too expensive and they can't afford anymore. The industry crashes. Then some rich come saying the economy is not going good, some control there greed. But before the crash poor buy whatever options they have. We only buy what riches let us buy.
                                        Did any company increase customer by ditching 3.5mm and SD? No, they just profited more from the same customer.
