The problem is that most people are too stuck on a brand and too afraid to try out another brand they aren't familiar with. If they can embrace competition instead of brand loyalty, they have a lot of choices to choose from. I have a friend who used to be a long-time Samsung user who recently went on to try out Sony because he values microSD card slots so much, and he's now happy going with Sony.

          Still i dont agree with a part where SD cards are faster than a cloud because this rely on internet connection and in chinese with a 6G network you can download like 1000GB of data within few seconds seconds. (Wireless data has been sent at 938 gigabits per second, or more than 9000 times the average speed of a current 5G phone connection. This would be the equivalent of downloading more than 20 average-length movies a second).
          I at home in slovakia have an internet with 1200 megybytes or 1,2GB a second download. There is no memory card which is capable of such speeds.
          Noone of them can be compared with 6G network download speeds.

            Sync with own computer or put it in external harddisk or something.

                    - Cloud is better if you have a good internet connection, while that's not the case in my place. Also, there's no way I'm gonna pay monthly/yearly to put my files on someone else's computer.

                        Those emerged in 2020 in China and combined the functionality of both. Physically, they were the same shape as a microSD, however, they had extra connectors that lined up just right with the pins of a hybrid microSD/SIM tray.
                        I copied it. As you can see the shape will be same like an SD card. But there are pin's. Also you need hybrid tray. But this phone has neno Sim. And nano Sim are smaller than micro SD. It won't even fite let alone work. At least see the images in the link you shared. And what are you going to do with a Chinese Sim. Will it work in your country?

                        And do you not understand math. I just showed you sd cards are faster than cloud. You just never used a pcie sd. It's like apple showing examples of helio chips with 20 GB ram and saying 8 GB is enough. (they didn't compare with helio, but they admitted that 8 GB is not enough.) Apple used to reduce the performance of their old phones through software updates. It's the same with SD. Only Apple uses NVMe storage for phone's. Androids use ufs - 3/4. But android also used to use emmc storage. And you can still find phone's with emmc. Which is slower than 3g. Dose that mean cloud is faster than internal storage?
                        Also don't you know what is a cloud? Some cloud's are made with sata, some with NVMe. And sata is slower than NVMe. In other words 6g is useless. Let's for your shake that the cloud you are using use NVMe on raid0.
                        But how are you gonna overcome the 6g speed limit and the latency due to distance.
                        You don't know how much power big corporations hold and crate situation where you you feel good to pay more and take less and you fall for this.
                        Why can't you read? Go check the link, search about sd cards, storage, protocols, physical ports/connection /pin. Learn computer science. It's not as hard as music.

At this point, only Sony still has the common sense to keep the 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot on flagship smartphones.                               In the past some phone's which supported sd had hybrid slot giving users options to choose between SD and Sim.
                              The some people mergeed sd and Sim. But Sim and SD have different shapes. Meaning you can't fit a SD card in the Sim slot. You will need hybrid slots. Also there is the matter of connector.

                              And SD cards are not slow. It's the ports that are slow.
                              Most phones had SD slots in the past. They were mostly uhs-i or ii. But there is uhs-iii. Also 5g and 6g will fill too slow to you if you experience nvme sd card. They also have there own classification indicating their speed.
                              pcie gen3 x1 is the slowest at 1GB/so = 8gb/s
                              5g on the other hand has atheoretical maximum of 10 Gbpstheoretical maximum of 10 Gb/s =1.25 GB/sThe average speed of 5G is between 150–200 Mb/s, but can reach up to 1 Gb/s.
                              But pcie has no avrage speed because it's physical.
                              You can already see the slowest nvme sd is faster 99%of the time.
                              6G will deliver a peak data rate of 1,000 gb/s=1 tb/s= 125 GB/. But it's also theoretical maximum. I have seen a video few months ago. The average was 600-1500mb/s=75-187.5 MB/s
                              pcie gen 5 x2 is 8GB/s=64 gb/s

                              SD cards are just lot faster than then cloud. And due to distance the latency is also very low.

                              You are just being controlled by the big company's.

The 8s Gen 3 performs basically like the 8 Gen 2 which is NOT found in new devices around $300-$400. And if you do, there would be tradeoffs in other departments. The 8s Gen 3 is perfectly great and it will be perfectly capable for anyone who buys the Sharp Aquos R9 Pro because like I said, users who buy this phone buy it specifically for its camera performance, making the R9 Pro more of a "niche" smartphone, rather than an excellent, all rounder with no gaps left to fill.

                                    5200 points geekbench vs 10000 and an ultra premium price tag is NOT cutting it!
                                    It's really good for 200-300 max 400$ device but for a phone that costs THAT much, it's an absolute shame! Also i don't think the camera could be something ever so shockingly good that would make me close my eyes for the CPU...
                                    And I'm saying it as I have made the mistake with the xiaomi 14 ultra. Mobile cameras are not that impressive for me as of now. I'd rather carry a compact camera and a 600$ phone separately than splurging ever so much for a stovetop behind with midrange cpu. I'd rather have collapsable lens rx100/ S4 ZOOM style and one bigger sensor if you'd call that proper camera. For that price there should NOT be compromises, PERIOD!

Yeah how do you imagine they make that huh? Gives you mobile data and storage too? That's just impossible. I understand that in 512GB or 1TB Phones SD Card can be avoidable but with it it's just so much safer and better.
