skater42, what's wrong with you with this screen resolution! you can't tell the difference in the 100's even though on the small screen. what are you trying to prove?????

    I've been following this forum hoping to find out how to upload pictures from sharp gx20 to my computer withou emailing, but even skater has not said anything. Please guys I need to know if I can use the infrared or data cable to transfer pictures to my computer

        At least I'm here to discuss why Sharp is good. People ask me, I give them answers. I own a Sharp, used to own an LG 7020 before and the moment I saw the phone I just liked it better than the rest.

        THATS MY SECRET.

        And my OH so biased view comes from being really satisfied with my GX20.

                Does anyone tell me which program(s) can play videos of GX20 whith extension (.3gp) on computer?

                    Hi Skatericardo,

                    yes, the GX20 does have a Video camera. You can record up to 20 Seconds of Video with Sound. The quality is soso, but it's a mobile phone. It's 15 frames per second and I think it's around 240 x 180 px resolution, can't tell you exactly. It's fun though and you can download them and watch them on Quicktime 6.

                      Hi yall,

                      @ kieran, you don't know what you are talking about, quite frankly. You probably haven't even held a GX20 before and can't compare and contrast the two phones. If you're after style, true, the E700 is beautiful. You're after QUALITY? The E700 is cheaply manufactured, the screen is small and the TFT and the camera is second class.
                      I've tested the E700 thoroughly and it's beautiful, just no value. Too expensive for it's cheap features. I admit that the memory kicks butt big time. The screen is ordinary and the camera plays up a lot.
                      The GX20 is brilliant, the picture quality is excellent and the screen is smoother and brighter than any TFT could ever be.

                      I don't need an E700 to stand out from the crowd (since too many people own it anyway). The GX20 is awesome quality, it's a SHARP.

                      The E700 is also old technology by now. Korean Samsung (Anycall) mobiles are much more advanced, so if you need to have a SAMSUNG, move to Korea.

                      Don't just go for looks, your mobile needs to work too!

                                Hey Yall,

                                I've had the GX20 for a while now and I love it...still!!! Now for the photo question. If you only take photos you'll be able to fit around 80 in 320 x 240 px resolution on it. That's pretty good. The quality is good enough so I can take snapshots and put them on the web. Really clear!! The storage is a little problem, only 2 MB isn't much, but if you regularly download your favourites to your computer you'll have no worries.
                                So far I haven't seen any phone (other than Korean or Japanese phones) with such a good display!!! The CGS is probably the brightest and clearest and a TFT looks REALLY lame and cheap compared to it!!! The quality of the phone is A+, very solid. I'm very satisfied with this phone and recommend it highly to everyone!

                                        Nokia 7610 is a piece of sh*t! don't ever compare it with the GX20! even Nokia display is a piece of sh*t!!! the display can't even compare
