What I mean is, will Nokia Convertor or quicktimepro do the job for the vice versa procedure as well?

About converting 3gp to mpeg, I mean from the mobile to the PC, what does one have to do? Do I need software or hardware and stuff like that? Thanks once again.

ok sorry mike ill cool it. To my knowledge buying a larger Sd card will not increase video size or quality.
Also about the program im really not sure you'd have to search on google or something.
Also you could use the Nokia Media Convertor to convert mpeg's to 3gp since its free and quicktime pro isnt. Some say there is no sound when using the Nokia Media Convertor but when i used it to convert a video it worked fine on my GX30.

Ok, even if a larger memory card doesn't improve the video quality, isn't there any kind of upgrade programme on the internet like the one for Nokia 6600 ?

Is it true that by getting a big memory card you can extend the video recording size for gx30?

Hmm, the GX20 (which I have) is the best already but the GX30 really puts everything else behind. I'm talking about the European/Aussie/US market. Of course the Asians have better models, but for the rest of the world SHARP has brought High Quality! Ok, and to get this right, the GX30/22/20 DO NOT have a TFT screen but a CGS (Continuous Crain Silicon)!!! Beats the hell out of Samsung TFT's.

this phone will be fine for approx 12 months then the microphone ( which is made of bio-degradable materials ) will start to fail, caller will hear crackles and white noise. this is the same on all sharp models.

I just bought the phone recently, and a 256mb sd card for mp3 and pics. It the best phone out.I also have a load of java games waiting to be put on to it but don't know where to put them. The phone manager software you get with it doesn't allow you to upload games. When I load the onto the sd card i cant find them on the phone. If anyone knows how to get the games onto the phone can the let me know asap and ill be more than willing to share these games.

Michael, between the GX30 and the Nokia 6230, I would definitely choose the GX30 with a 1 megapixel camera and a 2.2 inch high resolution TFT display versus the Nokia VGA camera and low resolution TFT display and other features. Although personal preference does come into effect, so do research the specification on the two units and you decide which best suites your need. Good luck!
