Harry, you can purchase a SD card made by "Sandisk" from eBay and other electonics/camera stores online. The GX30/32 will ONLY take SD memory card and it will not take your CF memory card.

Nico Domino, Disregard some of the "information" people put up on the forum. If your not good enough to put your email address on the site, I would say the information is either not true or bogus. Lets just do our part of the business posting the correct information on this forum!!!!!

Ok. back to answer some questions. From "Unkown": does any of you guys know a clamshell phone that can record videos, take excellent pictures, has bluetooth and is a worldphone? The GX30 is a great choice (I have it). From "gericka"; really like this phone but before i buy it i want to know all the pros and cons. can anybody please help me? its quite expensive too so is it worth it? Thanks guys. k well with this phone you can record video (quality isnt too great) and take pictures (1 megapixel quality is excellent!) also it has an MP3 player but it only supports 128khz. Which isnt a problem if you have a good converter. It plays the mp3's from a loudspeaker (good quality sound very loud if needed) or a mono headset provided in the kit. It has bluetooth but it only works with car kits and headsets along with bluetooth speakerphone. If you've got any other questions email me. And finally from Richard why doesnt the bluetooth work on this phone? im not about to buy an expensive cable and accesories for something that shouldve been working from the start before its release! anyone know how i can activate this bluetooth feature? Is there a download from wap perhaps? thanks all for reading :). As stated before the bluetooth function only works with carkits or headsets. To activate it go to:main menu, Settings, Connectivity, Bluetooth, Bluetooth On/Off
      Then select on.

Also to get bad boys 2 on your phone you'd have to first create a mpeg (or another format) of the whole movie (you probably downloaded it of kazaa or something) then convert it to a 3gp file (which is the only video format the GX30 plays) then copy the 3gp file from your computer to the SD card.

tupac, OK understand that the 10 megapixel is your dad's video camera...
I really don't understand what you mean by "slot the card"? Well I've got the V801 so not necessary for the GX32 to do any long video recording. Interesting though "slotting the card"

mobile phones are for calling not for camera video and all this junk all u need a phone for is calling why is it called a phone then and i own a nokia 8210 and im happy i dont need a camera in my phone. if ur so desperate for a camera buy a digital camera and i have to admitt that the sharp gx30 woke me up and really made me think how kool a camera phone is so dont think like i used to think get the gx30 since it is the best phone out on the market.

paul slot the card in and it should have a little sighn at the top of the screen of a card. then go to camera and click record video and it should ask u if u want to record on the card click yes and then record as long as the card can take.if it dont work call costomer serveises and tell them the problem cause it happend to me and i got my gx30 replaced with a new one which works. cause the gx30 has got quite alot of problems like bluetooth.

hey mike u can record video up to hours if u get a memory card all u do is slot the card in and it will allow u to record longer. and there is a camcorder out with 10 mega pixels not a phone and my dad has got this camcorder with 10 megapixels uderstand now.

Tupac, the video recording time on the GX30/32 is a little less than 1 minutes 30 seconds on a 400K byte segment. I didn't know it was possible to record a longer length of video from a PC to an SD card and play it on the GX30/32???
No matter how big a SD memory card you have the video recording time on the GX30/32 is a little over 1 minute. Unless you get a V801SH which will give you a continuous video recording time of over 330 minutes with a 256MB SD card. That's what I like about the V801 I have and the still picture loads way FASTER than the GX30/32. Compared with the V801 the GX30/32 takes about 20 times longer to load the still picture... Although I have nothing to complain about the GX30/32, it is the best phone I have purchased! I don't know about the bluetooth capability because I don't talk as much and didn't care about it when I bought the GX30/32. The resolution of the GX30/32 is 1 megapixel not 10 megapixel. There is a 4 megapixel camera phone out by Vodafone in Japan by now.

tupac, are you sure about video recording time? I got gx30 too but i can record video just only a minute per shot eventhough i got 256 mb memory.I think the mix per shot is just 400k for a long mode.If you really can do it, please tell me how to do. thanks.

well got the gx30 2 weeks ago for £350 and to be fair this is the greatest phone ive ever touched and the camera is amazin the qualiy is better than my dads £900 10 mega pixel digital camera with video. the video funchion is soooooo kool and u can get a memory card and record up to hours of video. and if u get a 560mb card u can download MOVIES i got bad boys 2 and my phone its soooo kool. im sayin that this is the best phone in the wold if u want a qulity phone u want to get the sharp gx30 only £350 in the link.
