Hey jim d thanxs for confirming this. In my opinion id go for either one. The screen in 7610 doesnt house as many colors. But there is a rely kool video editor app.

yeah i agree wit you jonno, had a try out in a vodafone store yesterday after readin your reviews nd the fone was really jerky wen tryin to take a foto, the video is not good either but theres no need for it wen youve got a 1MP camera at ur disposal! the screen is incredible as well, its so clear! u really have to see it to believe it! its light as well, and really easy to type wit! wot should i go for, a fone wit all the looks and a decent mp3 player or the nokia 7610 with better camera and video???

Scooby_Doo_Blue, i think they mean that when moving the camera around the screen image is jerky. I don't think that the phone takes that long to save the picture-in my opinion

i have heard that the camera speed on this phone is slow , does this mean that it takes a long time to save images or that when moving the handset to find a picture the screen image is jerky ? please reply ,thanks

This is a s.it phone.Can`t do anything well...don`t buy this phone becouse you gonna go crazy whit it.Sharp is the worst phone i had.

good phone ,lots of stuff , but why do all sharp mobiles have such a boring "tow the line" look to them. and what the h**l is this damn vodaphone only thing?

Doh!!! r u sure about the limits on videos etc, the sharp site says it can take 400kb movies but doesnt mention playbak - is it not gonna be able to play whole films in 3gpp? :( also, VBR mp3 work?

Gx30 will only play 3gpp with a max file size of 400K. MP3s MUST be 128Kb/s encoding BUT can be any length (SD card). You can't send games (jars) by IR or mem card. Bluetooth IS headsets only. MIDI ringtones have a restriction in size and number of sound sources.

Bluetooth and IR and phone cannot exchange data over it with other phones or notebook. POOR !!
On the first sight good features. But you can't use them as you could in many other phones. For this it is too expansive !!

I jus got my GX30 today. Wow an amazing piece of work. I love this fone. It's way ahead of it's time!!!! Buy It!!!!

It is a great phone and its features are great. It has brilliant colour and a good camera. It has even got a 1.1 megapixel camera with a video player on it. The MP3 player sounds great. I really would recommend the sharp GX30
