Can anyone help. Obviously the GX30 is a well built phone with incredible screen resolution, and having the ability to watch video (albeit 3GPP grainy quality) I have tried to take this a step further. I have managed to find a 3GPP video converter which can convert any MPEG, AVI or WAV movie file. This basically means that you can transfer an entire movie in 3GPP to fit onto an SD card. However, even though it sees the file, and can play small video files, it won't seem to play any video over a certain size. Even around 3MB which I think is pretty poor.
nyone got any ideas. Even Vodafone can't seem to answer this one.

Hi there!
I'm having trouble connecting to PC via Infrared using Win2000. My PC detects both Infrared device and GX30 but thinks that GX30 is a modem so the data transfer software isn't reading my cell!
Any ideas? I'm in New Zealand. :-)

Games&More->Screensavers->ON/OFF->On ,
please select the application corresponding to the screensaver.
But BombLink does not correspond to a screen saver.

Please transmit an MP3 file to a SOUNDS folder using a card reader.If still useless, abnormalities are in your MP3 file.Please carry out reencoding of your MP3 using Apple's Itunes.

In response to j's question, you have to go onto profiles, select any of the thingys9eg activity, silent) and go to "select ringtone."

Real problem with this phone is the two major soft keys are programmed for the service provider and are locked. If you want a phone and the ability to move to a different provider, do not buy this phone as your provider cannot or will not change them.

Lol, Paul i meant that you can transfer any sized file to the phone. U can transfer 3MB, but make sure the file is less or equal to 192kb/s bitrate. So u can have any sized file for mp3, it just has to be equal or less than 192kps/s. That isn't the size of the file, thats the bitrate the song plays at. :)
Sorry about ne confusion that my previous msg mite have caused!
