This is a very good phone. It won't break even if you throw it to someone. Well Done Siemens

Well, I have always been a Siemens guy, but I must say the A75, which I currently own is the bomb. It surely is a must have for those people who prefer simple phones.

This phone is alright. Its the phone that BTC(in the Bahamas) gave out, along with a sim card for free for testing and the service was funny for a day and then it worked well. The prob is that it's not quite a popular brand as the nokia and motorola and its to basic

In order to delete the T9 database you need to use Siemens Data Suite and the appropriate cable. Browse your phone memory for a folder called T9. Delete the files inside, not the folder.
Good luck!

The only thing I hate more than this phone is the salesperson who sold it to me. Yes, I have to pay a 25% restocking fee, but it will be worth it to me to get my money back and be rid of this thing and the frustration that comes with using it. I have followed the manual's instructions TO A "T", and I cannot get the volume to go below ear-splitting. Meanwhile, the people on the other end cannot hear a word I am saying. I mean, I paid $100 and I can't even plug a headset into this thing? I could go on all night about why you shouldn't buy this thing, but I'll leave it at this: If you are considering buying this phone, you can get a better one for less money. This is a rip off.

I like my Siemens A75. It's small and for 16 $ I think it's convenient. For simple needs (calls and SMS) it's very good, it has a pretty decent screen and good ring tones. The GPRS is not sufficient, it needs MMS, like the A65.

I bought Siemens A75 yesterday on some action sale. It has great desing, battery has long duration, but it doesn`t have anything what today`s mobile phones must have - such as IR, bluetooth, camera, MMS. If you need just a mobile phone for SMS and for calls this is very good mobile phone. It cost me around 46 euros, but I got earphones and 45 around 45 euros on my SIM card.

I've got two here in Romania for "fidelity points" (that's points you get for the value of your bill, kind of an incentive)...
They're ok... I also have a Nokia 7210. Nothing to compare, nevertheless... It's okay if you just need a thing to "talk" on...
Loud sound, loud rings... decent looks (when the screen's not on... lol). Better than my old A50 anyway... Low budget phone! A good thing though...

I bought the Siemens A75 for europe and it works fine. I was taken aback at first because its not as flashy as my phone in the states, but otherwise, once I got it working, it does everything I need. T9 can be turned on or off when your writing a text message by pressing # a few times. The only draw back is that I'm using a SIM card Italia TIM, and I have to constantly recharge minutes with a ricarichard. When I got outside of Italy, to other european countries, I'll have to get a roaming plan, anyone know anything about this?

I both a75 a month ago and now it is in service. In rest it is a good phone, the batery for 3 to 4 days, can download poliphonic and pictures through WAP. I would`t bought it if it was not so cheap = less of 16$. What can I say more: if you can buy a nokia don`t think twice!

Its weak point is -indeed- the fact that wou can hear yourself in the speaker. Oh, and another one: it is almost useless in the "great outdoors". It catches the wind very well, I must admit. I guess this is because of where the mic is placed. And it takes almost a minute untill it loads the commands of the two softkeys (the left and the menu one) after I turn it on. Otherwise it`s a good phone for its value but it is a little too cheap and slow.
