My first phone i bought was a Siemens C25 way back in 1999. Since then, Ive used the Siemens C45 and now the Siemens M50. Here's some of the features about the M50 (asian version - with chinese character input) that I like.
1)The screen interface is easily navigatable (once you're used to it, it's a breeze).
2)The buttons are spaced evenly and isn't too small.
3)One of the first Siemens phone to have blue light unlike the orange on other models.
4)You can update your games and programs through GPRS.
5)An archive storage (depends on the phone momory remaining) to keep your favourite SMS's.
6)You can send pictures, animation and sound together with your SMS - 760 characters altogether available.
Now here are some disadvantages to this phone.
1) Can't receive logo, screensaver and picture messages from other phones (such as Nokia).
2) Phone memory is only 50. Why can't they have more?
3) Hassle of getting new logo's and screensaver's (either through datacable or GPRS)
Purchasing a phone depends really on personal preference. Some features that people want (calculator and voice dial) isn't present in the M50. But the M50 is reliable and has some other balancing features to complement it. My rating for this phone is 8/10.

I think tha this mobile is very perspective-for young peoples! Its good looking. The only bad things are that is missing the infra-red and the polifone melodies

This far I have been more than pleased to my new mobile. Some things that bothers me are those stupid ways to load ringtones, logos and java apps.
GPRS is working just fine, even faster than I though...slow anyways.
Could't be happier!

I just bought it. I used to have a NOKIA 8210 but the vibration stopped working so I desided to buy a new phone. I was between the Motorola C333 and the Siemens M50. Because of the internal battery of the Motorola I didnt buy it. Unfortunately I bought Siemens which I when I turned it on I was really disappointed. Here are the defects:
1. Big and thick - Compared to the old NOKIA 8210 and C333
2. The speakerphone sounds like shit. Low quality speaker; When someone speaks to you , he sounds like he speaks from a fake toy.
3. The vibration is way too weak (Nokia 8210 rulz!)
4. The ringtones sound like shit (like the voice, they are coming from the same speaker) Except from that they are all crap.
5. Slow menus on SMS. If you check the incoming SMS it will display : "Please Wait". Slow loading for Games (around 5 seconds!).
6. The plastic covers are low quality.
NOKIA FUNNY SMS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE AS I HEARD SOMEONE SAYING!
The only good things I found on this phone:
1. The blue light is really nice
2. The battery comes out and I heard that it lasts longer than the C333
3. I highly recommend you NOT to buy it.

I bought this phone two weeks ago, and Im not very happy with it.
Overall it workd okay no drawbacks but its too toyish and Im getting bored of it quick. I suggest to future buyers of this phone to beware cause you will be dissapointed. Im thinking of buying a Motorola V66.

Got mine a fortnight ago,one of the best i've had......This phones' got a lot going for it-Small size, lightweight, really sturdy design, downloadable tones & graphics(Get a datacable then you can copy and send logos for nokias and other phones no problems),downloadable java games, easy to use(After u mess about with it for a while)WAP
Howerever it also has its draw backs- screen way too small, vibrator is not very strong..and the bitmap viewer is a pain in the ass!! :(
Overall its a good fone for the price.
