I still have my M55! And a iPhone 4S, too. It's amazing how M55 was so well designed for that time. It implements useful features not seen in the 4S: SMS to groups, a missed alarms list, an advertizer of missed event in the blocked display, snooze for the alarms, T9 keyboard, versatility on setting the what antecedence is wanted in an alarm relative to the respective event, different rings for each group of contacts, ...... :)

Had one, M55 was great, worked fine, survived even a 30 meter fall. My first color screen phone.

Batteries will cost you about US$8.50 here in Singapore. A brand new phone can be bought for about US$25. So it would be money better spent on a new phone than batteries for this discontinued model.

It is still with me, from 2005.
I have this phone and I am trying to find out if I can check my hotmail email on it. I have a fido account. Customer Service says I can but I cannot get it to work. They sent me to a Fido outlet who told me "we are not technical, we just sell phones". They sent me to another Fido outlet..same deal.
Anyone with this phone manage to check their email with it????
Any help would be appreciated.

To my humble opinion this in this Best ever mobile phone that ever made! Of course to his time…But never then less I miss this phone, and I wish someone in Siemens will pick up the gauntlet/project aging and make wonderful mobiles to the world.
I miss M55 so much!!!

This is an awsome phone. comparing to the modern Cell phones, this phone seems to be archaic but at it's time it was the most flexible and good phone. siemens had a very good cell phone production and it is very pitty that BENQ killed it.

Its a very nostalgia and memorable phone I ever had....i bought it in 2004 at mall ambassador Jakarta, its a good phone after all beside terrible keypad....goodbye siemens...I always love you...hiks4x

I use this phone in 2004, I love it but comfort wasnt its major point...the keyboard was to hard and ridicoulus.

Hi there,
I've got a problem with my M55 and I wonder if someone could help me.
The thing is I cannot make any calls, there is a symbol,a "z" in the left corner, where the reception bar is. Don'y know what it means or how to cancel, so please, if anyone can help me ...
