most horrible phone ever! stupid 4,096 color screen and this crap turns off by itself all the time.. i go with 260000 color screen now.

TERIBLE! The things shuts off on its own and the slide breaks off. I would go for the Motorola V220 instead!

This is the worst phone i have ever owned. I had it for three months and returned it once because i got lots of card errors and it switched itself off frequently, to the point that it was almost unusable. I had it replaced and the replacement did exactly the same within weeks. I had it exchanged for a different model eventually.
The fact that it looks unusual is the only good thing about this phone. Dont bother.

I Have A SL55 and i like my siemens be cause my phone have a many equipment for dialing and ....
but siemens's phone must repair speed of its working for more than buy in world and cross with nokia

This is the worst phone I've ever had. Ive had it for 1 month, it is slowwwwwwwwww, messes up the numbers when you dial, terrible software... Im going back to nokia as soooon as I can. Never buying a siemens again..

The SL55 is my third Siemens mobile, had the S35i the SL45 and now this one, the phone when it works is great although the display is onyl 4k which is a bit naff. Has been back for repair once and is now going to be replaced with a new one, have had it get stuck trying to look at text messages then it freezes and wipes them all!, couldnt send MMS for some reason had all that fixed and was fine for a few months, then one day it wiped my address book and had been a bit slow with texts since!!, also the zero key is sometimes a bit temperamental. Am having a replacement in a week or so but will be upgrading when I can to the new slinky CX65 or SX1.

Had an SL55 for 6 months, been back for repair twice and now the keys have fallen off! sexy looking phone, but terrible performance!

Keypad too small, memory too small, battery life too short, screen too small, prone to break down, pretty to look at and small. I said after my last siemens that I wouldn't have another. I'm going back to Nokia, and the 02 coverage was terrible with this phone.

Great look, horrible phone.
Have to join the ranks of users that curse this phone for its faults. Had mine for around a year and it started turning off every time the slide was closed and keys were not working - estimated repair cost around USD 175 - no way! Will be looking out for the new Samsung E800 instead.
