I am the proud owner of tis SL65 now which really impress me, I am not a die hard fans of Siemens but previously I used to owned the C45 for a few months. I guess tis SL65 is much much better than my previous Samsung E630C and Moto E398, which I sold recently before SL65 caught my eye at the shop and I bought it without hesitation. Anyway, I share the same view as others regards to the battery life of tis phone but I stil like tis phone and hope Siemens could improve and do something to solve it...

A "normal" WAV file has to be converted before it can be played on this phone. Download this program (wav playing)to convert WAVs into the right format. If you have any problems with the program, reading the readme file should help. You can set WAVs as ringtones just as you would with MIDIs.

I've used it for less than 2 months and it always auto shutdown by itself. The screen also hangs there while i'm recording sound, and i have to remove the battery to stop it... what a disappointment!

Hi all. How about user interface? Is it easy to use? I used to have a Samsung cel and sold it because 3 buttons where the shortest path to the addressbook. Totally user-unfriendly

                      Hey again everyone!!!
someone asked if samsung E800 was better than the SL 65...... well if we r talkin bout the camera, well there both same,,,,, but if u care bout the video recording.... then definately SL65 is better cuz it can record videos up to 00:30 min. While the E800 doesnt even record videos. But talking about shared memory.... Then E800 is better cuz it has 24MB shared memory... n SL65z shared memory is less. overall the Samsung E800 is smaller in size.... but in my opinion i think that the SL 65z size and design is perfect... and nicer then the E800. afterall it up to ya.

I'm a long time Siemens fan based on appreciation of German high quality, innovation and good ergonomics. I loved the SL 65 style and small size at first site. For me its the best looking phone on the market today. I just can't live with the idea that you have to slide the damn thing open first to recieve an-incoming call. What's this ?

Looks like a nice phone but is this better or the samsung E800? Can't decide what 1 to buy.

I got the SL 65 this month.....It Rocks!
Ive always been a fan of the sl 55 because of its size and design, but it lacked my needs... But now that the sl 65 is available, i bought immediately, since its very similar to the sl55's sleek design, but with better features. the only thing that i wasnt satisfied with was the poor performance of the battery!!! It gets used up very quickly! If you are interested in a wide varation of features,,,, but also care bout the size and sleek design, then sl65 is your phone!

I have had this phone for a few months now and i am dissapointed with the battery life.

Its ridiculously weak! Only lasts 1-2days.
and i dont even talk much on it.
