I dun use bluetooth, so its almost my 100% ideal phone. The pics quality are cool~ The sms fn is easy to use. Love the flexibilty of switching between camera n video just by a button click - an easiness many phones do not have. Love the addressbook attributes - with easy grouping and photo caller ID.But i having a prob now my video suddenly cannot work - "An error occured" when tried to record...anyone can help?

    Hi there

    I have just read you post and it said you can answer a call on Siemens SL65 without opening the slide could you tell me wich version you updated too e.g A212 ect.

      bigger than sl55.talktime also short.why the many of 65series no bluetooth?

        Siemens excuses that you get better sound/clarity if u slide the phone open. PLEASE(COME ON), let me decide if I want better sound clarity. Low Battery, Hang-ups, etc, I can live with them, but sliding open/close the phone which will damage the mechanism just to make/receive calls is plain silly!!!

          please, update firmware so you can answer/make calls without opening the phone. What are those people at Siemens doing?

            siemens sl65,great,if your looking for a "wow" looking phone.but will eventually annoy you,because of its clumsy design,you HAVE to open the phone to answer calls, and buttons are so close together you end up connecting to the internet.this phone is tooooo much hard work!!!!

              ok people, please understand a few things about this phone: BATTERY LASTS ONLY ONE DAY with normal usage (10sms, 3photo, 30sec video, 15min call) -is this a joke or what?, INFRARED IS DESPERATELY SLOW (10min/1meg), YOU CANNOT ANSWER A CALL WITHOUT OPENING IT, and if you do want to use built-in handsfree when you make a call - you must wait for an answer on other side and then switch to handsfree (with irritating question: "do you really want to use handsfree yes/no?", something like that), THERE IS NO WAY TO SEE SCREENSAVER CLOCK WHEN IN LOW ENVIRONMENTAL LIGHT - cannot turn on light to see what's the time, must use micro barely-visible clock on idle screen instead, PLASTIC IS POOR QUALITY - it would be fantastic if it would be made of an aluminum (like my old alcatel 511) and it squeaks when pressed a bit harder, SOFTWARE indeed has tendency to turn off the phone and the two really dumb things: three buttons on one side and two of them with same function - sound recording; button below joystick is not programmable so if you're not careful-each time you open the phone you're connecting to the internet.
              So, it's best sides are excellent design and size - it is small and perfect fit for pockets.
              My opinion: not a serious phone, such a waste of a brilliant design...

                  I am having mobile phone sl65-seimens but i don't have usb data card to connect PC for transfer of Pictures to PC. I request where i will get this accessory. In Hyderabad- India shall i get the card.

                        ive just bought the fone and iv fallen in love with it already it takes great photo's and irs just the right size for me its ashame it doesn't have blutooth thought, oh well I LOVE IT!!!

                          It's good and cool and stuff.
                          but it needs Bluetooth, that's all it needs...... BLUETOOTH! then it would be perfect.... nice one Siemens ;D

                              the disadvantage of this fone is tha ok it doesn't have blutooth but i can find alot more advantages than disadvantages such as-colour screen,cam,video,gd games,polyphonic ringtones,connectivity,looks good yer im definatly gettin this!
