the reset button is on the bottom. you need the stylus to push it, as it is recessed in the body of the phone.

What leek posts about the backup battery on this page is actually wrong. http://www.gsmarena.com/siemens_sx66-reviews-992.php
the backup battery for the sx66 is an internal v18hrt . It is in a pop up holder on the mainboard.

I received the phone November 15th 2005 and at first I was very skeptical but now I have to say that I love this phone. It does everything that I want it to do and then some.
It is very stable. I would have to do a hard reset on my Toshiba 805e at least once a week. As of today I have never had to do a hard reset. Knock on wood…
The size is a bit large to hold to your ear but I need the larger size to view/show pictures to clients. It has a great speakerphone but I prefer the Bluetooth headset. I paired the unit with a Motorola HS850 Bluetooth headset and it works great. I’m not one to walk around with the Bluetooth headset on my ear the entire time so I did purchase a carrying case for the unit which works perfectly. The phone rings and all I have to do is to open the headset and start talking.
The phone switches from WI-FI to GSM automatically with easy. It is a bit slower on the GSM network than if it was equipped the new EDGE technology but is still much faster than my Motorola Mpx220, V551, and V400. WI-FI is IEEE 802.11b which is only 11mbps but plenty fast enough to surf and download email.
I have used the phone as a modem connection to my laptop both to dial up to my home office and TCPIP/VPN. Again it was slow but it was usable.
Finally I have to mention battery life. There is no comparison to the battery life of my Toshiba 805e and theSx66. The Toshiba while turned off would last a max of five days, turned on playing mp3 at 400mhz was only approx three hours, playing mp3 at 100mhz approx five hours. The Sx66 while turned off with phone turned off has lasted ten days, with only the phone turned on six days, while playing mp3 with phone on has lasted eleven hours.
Simply put I can not find anything that I do not like about this phone. It does not have music ringer ID if that is important to you but it does have photo ringer ID. Again, it does not have camera but that wasn’t important to me either.
Being on the road all the time traveling all cross the country I needed something to keep me in-touch with my home office. The Sx66 allows me to do just that without having to breakout the large laptop.

Can the SX66 sync with Outlook Express 6.0 instead of Outlook 2002? My Outlook 2002 program on my PC is not working properly but my Outlook Express is working fine. If this can be done please email me at urmagic@aol.com
Thanks!

The only piece of software you need is ActiveSync, which you can download off the Microsoft website. The CD also comes with a copy of MS Outlook, but if you have office, you should already have this.
To the guy who was wondering who actually makes it - it's a company called HTC (Hi-Tech Computer) in Taiwan - but they are an ODM, and don't sell the phone under their own name.

this device is actually produced byHTC which has some variations of manufacturers,Like O2 XDA IIs,Qtek 9090 and etc
note the siemens version is said to be the most stable and also the camera's on the other varients really sucks
