I have been buying sony CMD J70 last week and after I recheck the manual book it, I didn`t found manual book version English. Therefore, whould you pls sent to me the manual book version English in order I can use it.

Been using it for couple of months now. Superslim phone, very light, easy in use, big display. definitely beats nokia in price/quality. though most fucked up ringtones i ever heard. luckely you can record your own in audio! very cool but poor sound quality. underestimated celly.

the phone is great but why isn't the vibrate mode integrated with the ringer, sometimes I don't hear the phone when it is in the pocket. It is definately the lightest phon that I have ever held

My J70 packed in after 4 months. Sony mobiles are sent to CRC in Nottingham for repair, but they couldnt fix mine, so it was sent to Sony in France. 4 weeks later, I am still waiting. Neither Sony nor CRC would send a replacement, and the Customer Services are not reliable. I kept being told a parcel was being sent into which I should put my phone and send it to CRC, but despite being told repeatedly that at least 4 had been sent, none arrived so I had to send it back myself. It will be a long time before I buy a Sony phone again!

There are two sites I have found so far that offer some wallpapers (either of them is official): http://www.coreland.be/sony/
and
http://www.r00t.host.sk
Thing is you'll need a data cable to upload these wallpapers, and a utility that makes sure you don't mess up writing at the wrong address. Both schematics and software are found at the latter site mentioned.
As for ringtones, i'm still searching.
By the way, anyone knows why my modem isn't answering AT commands from under HyperTerminal ?

i am very happy about sony cmd j70 is in my pocket, because of its perfomence and features.but iwant to change and download new ringtones to my phone.my no is +919843056828.i am living in INDIA(TAMILNADU).how can i download ringtones to my phone.in all web sites they are mentioning ISD NOs.but i am not havin ISD facility in my phone.kindly help me .and do need.
