i have bought this phone. previously i had k series phones . i love sony ericsson phones. in my opinion this is d best multimedia phone in terms of camera(which is very good than c905 & w995) picture quality is amazing during day & also in night. it has a strong leo flash just like d c902 have. but pictures taken in 7mp,6mp & 8mp r very very good. audio quality is also superb amazing . touch functions works very good . acutally i updated my phone with d new software. phone touch funtions r working very fast. i have installed opera mini 5 beta a new virsion which is touch enable & also have bolt browser both r touch enable applications. overall i am very pleased wiyth my phone..

after what u said about Aino i change my opinion about buying it and alot of people said that its touch not good i think thats because it slide and touch in the same time not only slide and not only touch and now really dont know what i buy i become more confused ...............

Everything is fine with the phone except for the 3G (video call).... the camera is at the back of the phone....it's not convenient at all... if want to use 3G service, there is only a way is to use mirror.....

Basically, I quite like the phone in term of its design & spec.. The only set back of the phone is that it does not really offer video calling.. as there is no front-facing videocall camera! What a failure!

Does the Aino have Youtube application? because on the sony ericsson website, it says it doesn't have it.

bought Aino about two weeks back now... this phone would be excellent if not for the lousy battery life. my phone usage is only moderate and though most of the time my phone is on idle/standby mode, i still have to charge it almost everyday. sometimes the phone just die on me halfway through the day and it wasn't even because i didn't charge it fully. :(

about abd el aziz st. really i d... moreit is ok about phone number but it is not possible to write in an open post like that.
i am with u that u don't trust abd el aziz
\but there is only one respected shop its name is radio talaat there is no worry that u can buy from this one.
another shop is deltawia shop i bought the w 995 from it.
i just want to remind u with some things that are not in favour for the Aino
it is only limited touchscreen only for media
camra features is simple and only used by touch.
you can't initate call or do navigating thru menu without sliding open the phone ( andi think this point is the worst point)
i am not sure about battery but i don't expect good battery i weighted both w 995 and Aino batteries
and i expect that Aino battery should be heavier as it is 1000 mah while W 995 is only 930 mah.
but that wasn't the case. W 995 battery is heavier than the Aino.
Aino looks very good but after looking it for many days you will get accustomed with it ,when comparing with the silver of W 995 i finally choosed w 995 in terms of look
but this is only my opinion , and sure others have other opinions.
by the way if you thought that you want the silver colour of w 995 you won't find it easily it is very rare in amounts

about abd el aziz st. really i dont trust this shops so i will get it from mobile shop i ask about it there it cost 3200 L.E
and if u in Egypt give me your mobile number to call u and know everything i want if that not interrupt u

and the Aino Defender u just talk about the style of phone i think the style and the shape not every thing in the phone

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2009i have two monumental questions before i go and buy this su... moreif u call when the slide is open, and u closed it, the call will be ended, if u call when slide is close, and u open it, it not effect the call, for the music, close or open, it wont effect unless u take out the battery ^_^

Aino is available and you can find it at the lowest price around 2900 at abd alla aziz st , you can find at less than 3000 at radio talaat .
about what to choose is difficult question
myself i was so confused between Aino and w 995.but satio is a different category
i finally choosed w 995 i bought the silver one, tha black one looks very dull.
but that doesn't mean Aino is bad one
i was after aino for 2-3 months but choosed finally w 995
i want to give you an advice.
i tired myself very much in reading many posts and reviews but i discovered that many reviews are really not honest and they are just complaining about little little things which isn't with that importance to the normal user.
so my advice to priortize your needs considering battery ,weight and easiness of use etc.....
i have posted earlier why i choosed w995 by the name of annoyomous.

I was playing with this phone at the Sony store and WTF is up with the touchscreen!? you can only use it when you close the phone for media access and can't use it for phone features! other thean that it seemed to be a great phone

Introducing myself : The Defender of Aino
Whether it's the black or the white ones (as sung by Michael Jackson, may RIP), Aino is definitely the sexiest looking phone ever made.
Those who put "style" as the highest priority must, i repeat, MUST, buy this phone, never mind about the features, it's very complete. Yes, it has some drawbacks here and there, but hey, it's not that we're gonna do everything in our lives with this phone.
Just take a look at aino pictures when you're surfing on internet, who can resist it?
This phone is made and designed with guidance directly from God, so if you claim yourself as a faithful, what are you waiting for?
sony Ericsson didn't pay me a single dime to post this, it really came from the heart, you know...
Believe me, this is a great phone to have
Oh, by the way... i haven't bought mine...still too expensive now... maybe in januari....

1. If i make a phone-call (or receiving), will it be stopped if i close the slider?
2. If i listen to the music from phone menu in the open slider, will it also be stopped if i close the slider?
