i choosed W 995 for some reasons and others considering my priorties.
w 995 is lower in price from Aino in my country.
Aino gains its price from the accessories sold with it not from the phone itself.
W 995 is already known for the previous 6 months Aino is still new.
i want no compromise about battery performance that is why i choosed W 995.
i want to use a simple phone that i can perform any action with ease, i won't have that ease using Aino in some points considering making calls or going to silent mode or other actions.
may be Aino will be suitable for other people.
i have checked Gsmarena reviews considering the sound quality and 1st understand what each score means
and there is no such difference between Aino and w 995
about camera many are saying that w995 camera is not good, although i am not a tech person i have realized that the camera of w 995 is really great.
for normal users like me we will never realize these differences.
if you are professional one i don't think think that you will use a phone camera.

i bought just yesterday w 995 the silver one.
it is really gr8 , i haven't used all functions yet.
but the 1st impression i understand after i bought the phone that many many people and reviews are all wrong they are saying rubbish.
and many people when talk about some weak points.
these weak points are just details of the details.
they are expecting more and more so they never feel satisfied. with any minute minor they just feel angry and how does that come?, i will never again read these reviews nor people posts.sure not all people posts have that direction some are honest but many are just exaggerrating.
so congratulation for your Aino
i hope your Aino will still work ok for the future and i hope the same for my W 995
i have a question about my W 995
i observed that when you press the shortcut key and navigate thru it by pressing left and right i found that screen white or grey colour frame around the actiity menu is changing slowly from white to grey or something, mean slow change in colour.
is that normal or this is lagging or it needs software update?! don't know and i hope i can explain right.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2009i have additional critical questions for Mr A.F and new own... more-if i am going to initiate a call i know it is not possible to make that by touch so you have to slide open the phone, if i want to slide close the phone while the call end or not?

or any combination of 2 tasks how will it work if one task is working on the touch and the other on the non touch, will any task of both will be shut when u silde open or close

the white... moreI have seen both the colors White and Black. As I am a guy I like the Black one. It looks more sophisticated. White can get dull n dirty at times...It's just my personal opinion.

i have examined Aino myself and it really looks so ... moreI am quite comfortable with the keypad. Yes I had issues in beginning as the upper slider puts some weight, but what I do now is spread my "Index Finger" little upwards. To be more precise I keep my index finger on the camera portion. That brings a good grip in my palm. Dialing is not a big issue for me, as I drive I have to use one hand for calling and receiving call.
Regarding the key pad, trust me its very durable no issues as of yet (after 4 weeks). I am not sure which other SE phone had that sort of make but my Nokia E66 has the same feeling. It feels like a papery type, nothing is wrong with that. Its durable...
Accessories which I got in the box were - Dock, Bluetooth, Headphones, Charger, PC cable and Manual. CD is not included as the phone has PC suite stored in its memory. Just plug-in the phone to the PC and install the software. Very simple.
After updating the phone facebook app is still there in the messaging section. I have not used the facebook app as I don't have an a/c.
W995 is also a good option. Previously I also had plans for W995, but Aino looks awesome in comparison, and stands out of the crowd. Yes the Silver W995 is what I liked more than the black W995. I have a black Aino.

neither one of that sonyericsson.
Too much money for almost nothing. U got limited functionality of touchscreen. Only for music. If u got so much money for handy then go buy nokia n900. Awesome handy with much more options.

The phone is pretty nice.
sleek and nice looking.
however several problems arise.
the stock themes are quite laggy when browsing, the keys dont feel very solid and the slider top portion feels slightly flimsy. i think this might however could just be me as i might be too paranoid about it breaking.
also. i am currently suffering from a problem with not being able to activate the mini music player when the screen is locked but active. anyone else have the same problem?

Its a good phone but I... moreI;m sorry but i beg to differ...the touch on this phone is gr8 even before the update, and now it's just flawless...the camera and image quality is just superb if you're using the 6 or 8mp, and it shows greatly when you zoom in that image quality is spectacular(i used to own an n95 and it doesn't even come close to comparing it's camera with the aino)..video quality is also excellent and it is in near HD quality...so maybe u should check and see what's wrong with ur phone..

A, 15 Dec 2009Hi, I have heard that the Aino takes around 6-7 seconds ... moreit now takes approximately 4 seconds to save images..the software update also made touch more responsive(amazing touch now), slightly improved battery performance, and added a new game :)
