Judging from the picture and GSM preview, Aino wiil not support symbian.
It's just SE original UI.

If you want a phone with an OS, check out the upcoming Sony Ericsson Satio with its powerful processor and 12MP camera, the upcoming XPERIA X2 running on Windows Mobile, or the upcoming XPERIA X3 running on Android.. You could also take a look at the XPERIA X1.

What sony needs to do is create their own ui and web kit browser because that is all the rage these days. The ui can take some time but the browser with real flash like adobe 9.4 should be a top priority!

aino will be considered as the phone that will attract se users only ... as we can see that the features are made to be compatibel with se playstation 3 and this is like a trial phone to experiment the public for the new range
lets hope that it will succeed and i will purchase one just to add it to my big collection of se phones

but I still think that these two are very good phones and you will enjoy both of them :)

I think Aino and Jet are the real rivals here. Both are good dumb phones. Aino may lose to Jet because of its partial touch capability but it has 8mp rather than 5mp and has a ps3 remote control too.
