Hey i want to know is this phone good? im thinking of buying a new mobile as i am getting bored of my nokia 5800... and which is better? 5800 or aino

well its my time to tell u people the opinion about this phone, at 1st seeing all the opinion in this site, i had a bit hesitate to buy this phone.. but i loved its design so got it.. after using it fot 3months today.. my conclusion is that its very good phone.. it has some cons.. but overall good phone.. GSMARENA wrote wrong about this phone that it doesnt have 3.5mm jack, but the bluetooth headphone has it and the sound in headphone is awesome ,great clarity and good bass with loudness, but a bit low sound in speakers, i phone got just 2times restated in 3months, its bit slow.. but when u delete all the call logs again it becomes fast as 1st.. great screen, camera would have been better but is ok, well designed, good keypads,Wifi is awesome and also internet in opera mini is better, overal good phone.. love to have it..

Vijeth, 17 Jun 2010Can we play or use this mobile as "PlayStation 3"... moreu can use Aino 2 play all types of media u store on the ps3 from anywhere using wifi or 3G...but not 2 play ps3 games...u only have acess to the XMB menu of the ps3 & play music,videos & pics...just pair the phone with the ps3 & enjoy

@JC: hi Jc, the real disadvantages was found before SE had released 2 highly important updates which totally improved the touch screen & the battery consumption plus more phone stability..now it's perfect...i read a comment before which i like saying: if u want an entertainment phone which is not a iPhone go 4 an Aino...the keypad is not a disadvantage at all..for me i drive a lot....i can't imagine my self typing a sms on a touch screen while i'm driving(i do it alot) it's a great mix between touch tech and keypad...i & wut if the phone fell down hardly & the touch screen affected??? if that's wut ur looking for go 4 it...plus the Aino is not just entert. phone,& also u can use the anti-scratch touch screen in all media, some games & in browsing..yes with "browsing"...by downloading Opera mini 5..it works all with the touch screen (huge benefit)plus it's all the benefits of the buisness class SE phones (like the K810i for ex.) very smart phone....abt the iphone: a complete touch phone,different software ...smart also ...but it doesn't have a stand or the amazing headset which make a big difference...& bigger difference in music quality(guaranteed)...plus the Aino is 8.1mp xHD cam while the iphone i think it's 5 or 3mp(very low Q)...And there's a big difference in the price..it's a fact, the Aino with all of its benefits & advantages is cheaper halfway the iphone...amazing. one of my friends got an iphone 3gs after i got the Aino...i didn't feel jealous for a sec. i found my phone is very satisfying. & it's very competitive with the iphone....i loved it more than i expected.. i hope i could help...

JC, 25 Jun 2010hi Michael im gonna buy an aino but can you tell me anyw... moreJC, the only disadvantege i can see is the keypad, really hard to press at first use, but ull get used to it, and, quite heavy, but when its at your hand, you can feel the phone gettng really solid because of its heavyness, it feels good having a sooolid phone,, haha, really really cool phone, and, apps are imited though, but, i love my aino!

just explored my aino, it hanged 1 time while sending files via bluetooth, well, its no big deal, touch sensitivity is good, and realizing, BT headset is the bomb! damn good music with BT headset, but speakers, not so much, really awesome camera, takes good pictures, better than my previous k850i, yeah, is really good, and i dropped it a while ago ON THE ROAD, it hurts my feelings, the housing got really torn, there are bumps, T-T, but still very happy.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2010Does this phone supports Nimbuzz or any other chat/IM client??Yes the sony ericsson Aino does support Nimbuzz and using it is quite fun though we can only enter text in the application using the alphanumeric keypad (no virtual on-screen keyboard) and the touch screen can only be used to navigate through the application

@buzzz: yes u get a stand & a headset..Aino is ofcourse better than W995...it has everything the W995 has plus more elegant...touch screen...the headset is a unique device...better cam....many many other things u'll enjoy...i wish i could help

i'm gonna answer all ur questions, but first of all...u all should update ur Aino's to the latest update which is 1223-3004 R7BA084 100323, how? by the update service software u can download from SE site or by air through ur phone from the settings. Now:@Setiawan: enter messages-inbox-then tab right to choose the "conversation" view.
@Alexa: yes u can...the latest update contain "bubbletown2" a touch screen game..but i've 2 say it...u won't find games like the iphone touch games...but u can search on getjar.com or search google. @abc: in speakers: medium...in headset: u won't believe it 10/10. @Anonymous: yes it supports nimbuzz. @TNasr: i've setup my hotmail & gmail accounts..it does have an e-mail exchange,SyncML & Exchange Active Sync u'll find them in connectivity settings-"Sync" item. @Rio: the Aux output is in the BT headset MH100 comes with the phone. @Tan: i saw it in a mobile shop..i mean it's on sale but it's toooo expensive..109$ :S @philipe: u need 2 download "Media Go" software (from SE site) its amazing..u may need some time 2 get well known with it but it's easy2 use...u just choose the music u want-make ur playlists-then u'll enjoy ur music...media go will browse ur pc for music & arrange it 4 u & can import u r playlists & u can connect ur phone 2 media go by Wifi or USb....any music u'll save on ur phone will go directly into music folder u don't have other option & its the best place. i hope i could help with these answers...ay problem just reply & i'll answer

just go m aino really cool phone touch sensitivity is really good, music in speakers is good, but not the best, bt headset is really cool, very fast device no lags at all, wifi really fast, camera is great, worth the money :)

I bought the aino a couple of days ago, I'm not able to setup the email, it does not have an " mail for exchange " setup nor active sync application for the email setup.
