Rohit, 12 Feb 2011I have been using this phone for the past week and the expe... morehey dude, the lack of messaging button is made up by the screen button which can be added in spb mobile shell or sony ericsson panel.
i gotta agree the build quality sucks especially the battery cover. since when the stop making press to release buttons?

I have been using this phone for the past week and the experience has been good. I used a Moto Q9h previously and so preferred a windows phone with a qwerty.
Pros:
Long battery life. I charge my mobile once in 3 days and it charges up pretty fast.
The most complete windows 6.5 ever. I did not feel the need to install any apps (apart from games)
Phone is snappy (hangs once a while.. windows fault)
Cons:
my Q9s keyboard was far better and it also had a dedicated message button
Phone feels fragile in hand. (i had dropped my q9 many times but cant dare to do that with aspen)
Build quality sucks. (ok i get it.. a green phone.. but wtf!)
Bottomline: Good for heavy texters and value for money (7k in india)

sam, 09 Feb 2011aspen or Xperia X8.... ?.... help me plz....If you want a PocketPC, particularly for document editing, doing lot of texting then go for Aspen, if you want just a smartphone for regular usage and document editing is not a requirement then go for X8

I think SE is not that serious about this Smartphone. But there are many third party apps, most of them are specifically made for Windows Mobile. just make sure they are from a reliable source. . .

piyush, 06 Feb 2011Even I am nt able to install marketplace..it always show un... moreIf you are using GPRS or EDGE then first thing would be to install opera browser, then try to install the marketplace, and try this at times when the traffic is usually low, like 6 in morning. and have a hotmail or windowslive messenger account. I too had the same problem, most of the problems related to online services were sorted by Opera.

Go to Sony Ericsson site.....Support...and update the software.
It happened with me after the first charge it did not want to restart. I updated the software and it started to work till today(2 monthes)

wei, 05 Feb 2011how to change the phone languege to Chinese??can somebody h... morei'm not sure how u do that because even hard reset don't have option... but if u got a firmware update, it should require u to select ur language... so try update firmware by using SE Update Service program dowanloadable from SE website.
