hi,
i Bout my phone n most of the tym it keeps coming as "Memory Not found" can any1 pls giv me a solution..????

i have used over 10 sony ericson phone n ive gotta say this that this phone is there on the top.
I have used even p1 and w850.k800 ect but this is as good as it gets.Great keypad,fast processor,clear voice clarity,good enough image quality.
Only drawback is that it lacks wifi wish it could have had wifi as well.
All in all a great phone to buy dont worry..ull not regret it one bit.For its price its da best phone in the market unlike heavy borring nokias and unuseable htc's or plasticky samsung's.
Way to go SE u rock!!

after doing some research, i found out that c510 uses lense with smaller aperture (f/3.2) compared to some other camera phones which use bigger aperture (f/2.8)
small aperture = little amount of light entering the sensor = darker picture.
small aperture = need more time for sufficient light = longer exposure = more prone to shaky picture...
that's why c510 picture looks not very nice compared to some other cameraphone~

I have had my c510 for over one month with not one single problem crash or restart. The problem with your media could be that you simply needed to format the memory card in the phone. I have no such problems you have to manually update media in the media menu. It should play then. My software is R1DA032 works fine no problems

guys after being so confused I bought my c510 I would like to share abt it those who has negative views for it.
good,
Camera fine not exceptional
speaker good,voice clear
all features new
light weight,sleek look
good sound as equal to w 595 in ear phones.
I bought it I am getting good music and good camera and all new features in Rs 11000.
dont be confused by all negative blogs.just go for it nice phone.

After using the phone for 2 weeks i can say this: i wishi hadnt water damaged my c902!
this phone would be excellent if it wasnt for the software. the media player completley resets itself about 5 times a day. i can be listening to music one minute and the next it cuts out saying "media file not found"
i have to turn the handset off, take the memory card out and then tell it to manually update media. after about 10 mins my music all comes back and i can carry on using it. a little annoying as i use it for walking to work.. and by the time ive done all this im nearly at work...
ive exchange the handset once hoping for a software fault but the new one does the same. ive booked it in for repair today at a Carphone Warehouse Express Repair Centre and asked for a software update, as apparently, in true Sony Ericsson style, there is an update available a month after it was released. i hope this fixes the problem... i cant wait till i can upgrade in decmeber and i can get an iphone..

Ashish, 20 Apr 2009is the music quality of Kseries better than Nokia N73M ??C510 it is by far, but n o t the K series. You should go for W-series for music.

Yea the C510 totally rocked after using it for sometime.. The features were great especially the audio quality.. The cons are only the lag sometimes and the camera's performance in low-light conditions.. overall its a great phone. 8/10 maybe?

It amazes me how you guyz keep asking these questions about which camera phone looks the best, the answer is NONE, All these cell phones use cheap lenses.. PERIOD ive got a nokia 1.3M, sony 1.2M and another sony 2M pixel phones and all outcomes are the same! Clear in the middle and blurry going out toward the edges. Nothing changes, i go to my sony digital camera and go to VGA mode and the picture is IMACULATE from the inside and out!! No blur's at all its all about the LENSE. And until these cell phone companies realize to put in better lenses, the pics will always come out half way descent. But then again its a cell phone camera.. How much quality do you really expect to get?? Try it for ur self, if u have a camera phone and digital camera, set them to the same resolution and snap the same picture and look at them on the computer closely....
