I have been using this mobile for 1 year.. Till now i havenot faced any problem in charging. I'd use to listen songs for morethan 1hr at a stretch... excellent battery backup. I'd put the charge every two days once the battery is fully drained. Try it..
Sometimes the screen will hang.. thats d only drawback

well i have been using this phone for past 1.5 years .. initially it was good .. but gradually the sound started to ware off .. n i m using sony phones since 2006 .. first was a z550 i which was horrible .. but c 510 the problem is the phone's performance starts to go down in a few months time .. also more songs u upload into the phone more the sound goes down .. comin to the battery .. yeah initially there were a few problems i had faced but gradually the problems seems to fade away so battery back up goes for a max of 1.5days that is with only for speaking and listening to music but if u use cam also then guarantee battery back up might jus go up2 1 day .. n this phone has become obsolete now ..

it has a good clarity and zoom in camera.the battery backup also good.its a stylish and nice mobile.

Can any one tell me their experience on batte... morebattery not fully loaded i had it too but i unpluged the phone and pluged it back, and after a minute it showed that is fully charged, but the battery in my phone after one year and a half it is as good as new.
maybe the battery in yours may have a construction problem, it happens not very often but sometimes there is one that slipped trought the quality check.
the provider should replace the battery if your phone is under warranty.

I am using this phone for the past 14 mnths. i ve updated the FW many times. still the phone s superb slow.clearing cookies, and cashe didnt help too. the camera s really bad.especially in low light shots with flash.but its reasonably average quality in good ambient lighted conditions.i suggest u forget this model if u r looking for a good camera phone. the sound s good, especially the headphones are rocking good in quality. pre installed you tube s too good and we can watch you tube videos without buffering in normal indian EDGE networks (2G).multi tasking works fine and gives u value for money.beware of the external panel as it ends to fade and looks rally old if u dont use a proper cover.battery back up is good and i use avg of 2 hrs to talk a day n i charge battery once in 2 days. internet browsing experience is excellent for the price range. Opera mini 5.0 will make your experience with internet excellent. no skype support and other voip support. but u can have nimbuzz or other third party software installed to get all IM texting free. games are average quality. supports a wide range of java based softwares including folder lock. one advantage i felt in comparison with nokia is the ability to create folders were ever u want. in most nokia models we cant arrange our videos and photos in separate folders. but here u can do wat ever u want as u do in a PC.
so my verdict, if u r lookin for a great camera, stay away from this fone. the fone s slower and u need to b patient. good network and good browsing experience and quality headphone along with slim n sleek design and fair battery life. its worth the money u spent.

gov, 16 Mar 2010Don't use Sony M2 cards. Use Sandisk. I have a 4gb Sony M2 ... morei am using sony M2 4gb. . . And my phone always slowdown. . . So u mean much better if i use sandisk? . .

This phone is vry slow cnt do multi tasking....recently thr arise a nw prob from 2day automatically phone switched off & whn on d phone thr shown no network coverage & bluetooth also does nt work.....I'm using it 13months, totaly wastage of money........

I m glade 2 say that this phone is great! Bt at night the parformance of camera makes me shy! So bad!!

My c510 deletes evrything on memory card after three months is it a virus on its on without my knowledge!!??

Its good. Yes it can play wma n rm music files. Camera is also good.
