Hi again...For those who want change the phone features like....
bringing the FILE MANAGER outside and sending ALARMS into the ORGANISER,
having TORCH LIGHT in the right soft key instead of the SEARCH tab....
or changing the whole icons of the phone....
or only changing the MENU,LEFT SOFT KEY,RIGHT SOFT KEY NAMES into ICONS....

I bought a Sony Ericsson c510 before 7 months ago and now i confused with such a problem which always gave the message “ Insert Sim or view demo”and " Inactive sim" always.. and it is already damaged to my Sim also ( Sim was worked perfectly when i have this problem )… so I bought a new sim and insert it and again my phone gave me same error.. but my new sim is work properly in other phones now also…
I already updated the firmware of the phone. But still it not detecting the Sim

hey im a sony ericsson w 910i user and i thnk its time for me to change it to c510 the only qustion that i want to know is to that are thre any faults in c510 like any ribbon cases and maintain costs are high please anyone who usus the phone please tell me
what i wana know is that does it has any faults like the phone k850i

This phone is an okay kind of phone which I purchased last year and it just got nice features but now it does not perform up to mark and its main functions like call receiving and call ending function are not working properly and it always switches off immediately after sometime I switch it on and this happens again and again and now I am fed up with this, I have also send it to the authorized Sony Ericsson service center for this and these morons had changed its keypad and reloaded the software and charged hefty sum of rupees for it as it is out of warranty and now after so much of problem which i had faced due to this mobile I think I should throw this Phone in dustbin. I hate sony ericsson now, they really are making very poor quality and badliy functioning nokia copying mobile phones like this sony ericsson C510, poorest

hey all se c510 users,here is the top notch sound quality of the c510-just try 2 get the bt headset of aino and pair with c510 and listen 2 the music 2 get urself lost in the music. Very very cleanest output,bass is deep and clear,treble also very clear and the volume is quite loud as well as the sound qulity is incredible and awesome at this price range.

i used to k750i,r300,g502 and now using c510 model but i like to that models k750i and c510. c510 model is used for my 4th mobile. hands on experience is very good.

Where i can get free themes with layout,i have downloaded the layout but,i cant instll in my c510...can u guys help me pls?
And i wondering why the screen in se c510 esspecially the black color was easily dusty,the dust is easlly thourgh insde the screen i have tried to clear it i go to the se service center twice but no chnges my screen stll dusty aftr 1 week i clearing that dust:-(...but my freind hve dis phone se c510 white/red its doesnt hve problm wth that...i buy new but dis phone seems like an secnd hand phone....any suggstion cause iloved dis phone vry much...:-Dthx

FOR C510, I can answer, as I am using this phone-
BATTERY BACKUP : 2 days (depends on usage)
SOUND : inbuilt headfone - good, speaker fone - low, Music on speaker - avg, music on headfones - very good
CAMERA : in daylight - very good, in dull light - not good, zoom is available in vga size images only
OTHER PHONE : nokia c5 with same features and price range.

its quite nie but sometime the c510 peace get hang & the camera night mode work few times only not satisfied with this po=hone as cmpare to other phones

quite well.snapshots are good but not the best one,but there are some problms while taking pixes in nyt.muzic quality is winsome-se can treat this phone under walkman instead of cyber-shot.3G works well enough.display may be better.battery backup is good.thanks.

as u all r helpful pl tell me wether it has call recording? If not with certain software can u make it record calls? I hear if it is with symbian SW u can make. does this have smbian sw? thanks a lot for ur contribution!
