I have recently bought a C510 sony, it was good however, i have one problem which is not very significant, but still considered a problem to me ( woah... so long winded)... haha...
it's the camera thingy, how do u switch on the light when taking pictures, i read the manual that the light is for the video, but there was more than 3 times when i tried to take the pictures, the light came out, but it was a coincidental event.i can't even assure if wat am i pressing actually, haha.hmm...can someone please help me with this. PLEASE... :)

I purchased it on some days ago.........it is such a nice phone within this range........bcz nokia is comletely worst within this range.........and regarding samsung it is quite good but the battery back up is worshen than sony............

I have problem with my c510, i try to debrand the phone. My steps were:
- I download C510_R1FAO35_MAIN_+_FS_+_CDA_WESTERN_EUROPE_RED53
- flash the phone with these files, change the customize_upgrade file, and go to update my phone using SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service)
- I instal the program, choose my brand, and when i connect the phone, shows the message: you using the latest software there is no software update avilable for your phone.
- Before i try to debrand the phone i have updated the software.
Is there any solution for my problem, can i solve this or my phone will be dead till the new software update avilable?

sashi, 14 May 2010hi wats the speed of 3g network in c510 mobile?i thnk its 3... moreYea, the full speed of 3G is 384kbps. But it depends by your network. In my country I can't get 384kbps, only +/-200kbps even in off peak (2am - 6am). A different network provider maybe give different speed.
