Got my phone working again and updated the FW to R1HA035 Nordic. And got myself a new pair of HPM-77 and an 8gb Sandisk M2 card.
I can't say which I liked better R1FA035 or R1HA035.
With R1HA035 Nordic:
Better acoustics (sound quality in headset), and a much lower volume. And still good loudspeaker.
Worse 3G connection. I keep having problem connecting to the internet with my laptop (using my phone as the modem). I don't know who's at fault, the phone, the network, or my laptop (running on windows 7).
Still bad call reception. Dropped calls and a much poorer 2g signal reception, hard to make out what the other person is saying especially inside moving vehicle.
Brighter screen and the images looked smoother. The reds are much redder, and the yellow less "yellower". Maybe its just me. :-)
No more annoying pauses when playing music. Don't buy Sony M2 cards, go for Sandisk.
I'm kind of blogging here. But where else? Sony Ericsson has poor customer service.

OR simply google "using a2uploader". Been posting this info lots of time. Posting a tutorial here will only confuse users. And I don't think this is the right place to do that. Modding is NOT for novice users unless you're willing to take the risks. If you have a data cable, you're good to go. :-)

plz dont buy sonyerricson phone, bcoz of poor service .i waste 11000 rs on sony c510 its the worlds worst mobile phone.if u want a good phone then choose samsung phones with good security option and value formoney & good service....

I've used for only 1 month. Very satisfied.
Great function.
Nice camera. But couldnt take bright picture at night.
Autorotate.
Quite slim.
Very loud speaker.
Very good phone under rm500 to compare with other phones for the same price and year.
But I sold it to change to s.e g705

smile shutter and face detection is not working automatic.... i thought it will just detect it and will just capture photo but it's just like you're taking a normal picture and you still needs to press it

hi..i'm uday from hyderabad.I've bought c510 last month.Unfortunately it was slipped and fell in water while driving.Now the camer is not functioning at all.Can this be repaired..? plz guys suggest me.
