You can only see the "fully charged" message when you charge the phone turned off. It's logical. The phone can't be fully charged when turned on because it keeps on using battery power.

Modding is really fun. You can change the media layout, remove the operator logo, change the font type or decrease it size. But hey, you'll void your warranty so be sure to create a backup of all system files before you mod your phone. That way, you can restore your phone to its original state when the need arises.

hi all,
Just wanna ask abt a charging problem
Although i put my mob. on charge for along time, it doesn't give me that note telling me that charge complete
and that sign of charging (filling the battery sign and refilling it , ... etc) still moves even after one day and half
so i wanna know wat's the problem?

After the update my battery lfe is shorter as a result of poorer signal reception :S

Chassi of phone is weak.it put pressure on chassi when cam shutter open,it crack after 8-9 month.

Someone posted that the ph... morehi gov, sorry i have just read ur reply. it's an 8gb scandisk m2 card. no, it is not true that the phone doesn't supprt 8gb because i have proven it with myself. previously, i was frustrated because i experienced hang up problems but after i updated, i never experienced it again.
good luck for your buying an 8gb m2 card, i hope u will experienced what i've experienced. just don't forget to update ur softaware.
by the way, how did u made the modding? I don't know how to fix the problem with my night photos, as a result i have to take photos only at daytime hehehe.

Ahh, ok. I forgot to read your last post. I'll update my phone. The sooner the better. I didn't bring my data cable with me. Is your firmware version R1HA035? Currently mine is R1FA035 and the flash is totally uselesss.

For those who haven't updated their phone to the latest yet, you missing out here. The latest is the "H" firmware. The phone's speed has really improved! When you start-up, it doesn't need to load anymore. And in the old firmware, you sometimes get stucked up with the Media section but now, it's really faster! No lags for me so far. I don't know if it's just me, but the battery life has improved. Mine has lasted 4 days straight with regular use with the occasional heavy use. Unfortunately night photos aren't fixed yet, but I have a new camdriver and it works perfect! So update your phone now and it will be so much faster.

I'll probably buy one tomorrow. (Waiting for your reply hehehe). 4gb is not enough for me. I stored mostly tracks in m4a format.
About the camera performance. You're right. But I've modded the camdriver of this phone and it really can take passable photos at night. Knowing that, it's very frustrating why Sony Ericsson can't fix it themselves. The camera performance of this phone CAN be improved. Just waiting for the official fix, if it comes at all.

rio, 11 Jan 2010Worse phone i had ever used.The flash is totally useless.Not really. Sure it's useless with SE's original firmware but when you change the camdriver, the phone's flash is totally useful! Just updated my camdriver and it's looks awesome! You should totally try it.
