its been a while that we posted and and tried firmware updating our phones! (we have the same prob re - brownish/yellowish photos.)is your phone ok now?? does it have the natural color the other phones have?? if "YES" then what did you do?? can you share it please??

better you buy w902...., you will get 8gb m2,front camera and high resale value..

no lag in media center, very fast... morehey blink. (and to other c901 users as well)
I just bought the phone like 2 weeks ago, and so far the color covering is still ok - no scratches yet.But yeah, comparing the c901's cover with my previous SE phones, the cover is somewhat "peelable" (has the tendency to be peeled easily)..
So before anything happens, i want to ask, where can we get that crystal casing? Is it already available in the market? i am from cebu...

They can take a look itno your phone and if its a product/company defect, im 100% sure they'll be glad to replace that. I had the same problem before with my c902 (prev phone) and they replaced it with a brand new one. SO dont worry.

Alip900, 29 Nov 2009I've seen both zn5 and g810. I won't pick a phone with open... moreWell, these phones doesnt have wifi because it's a camera phone! that's it's main function. If you're luking for gadgets with wifi, you might want to check PDA's. Because those are dedicated to internet browsing. :)
And you cant have all in one phone. We are actually very fortunate that c901 has gud camera (xenon), gud music player (with adjustible equalizer), have access to internet (though not wifi), and can send mms/sms!
To think it's also very slim and sophisticated.

If c901 has wifi, then definitely I would pick it than n82,g810,zn5 [^_^]

Hi guys,
So I bought my C901 a month ago and out of nowhere it won't turn on anymore. When I plug it in, it says "Battery cannot be charged. Use a Sony Ericsson battery." So my phone has been dead for two weeks! I've tried buying it a new charger and a new battery, but nothing works! When I plug it in, the keypad glows red instead of blue. But after a while, it turns blue only so it can tell me it won't charge. What can I do?

just upgraded my 901 thru the site you posted. yup it did help a little but still the brownish shade is very obvious. i even went to SE shop last week but all of the units tested have the same shade. anyway, thanks a lot pal for your advice. at least i now know how to upgrade a phone!! hehe!!

yes, on the camera settings, you can choose whther it wiil be saved directly to phone mem or mem stick.

I plan to buy the C901, i like most of the features except for the small screen, but the larger ones are more expensive. Does anyone know if pictures/videos taken are stored in the phone memory or the memory card? or is it possible to set where they are to be stored?

I also had the same problem. Just update the software from the SE website. The phone manual explains how to do it. This will solve the problem.

Hi Opa,
Yes like you I had the yellowish color when I took pictures. But I immediately solved the problem by updating the software from the sony ericsson website. The manual explains how to do it. Below is the website link.
