Silentcon, 09 Apr 2009Is this the phone used by James Bond in Quantum of Solace?the one they used at phantom of solace is the slim c902. lovely... i don't like the way they release another 3.2mp CyberShot phone (c510) it's worth buying but there are plenty of 3megapixels cameraphones there (k790, k800, k810, t700, k770, c702, g700 and more.. too much for 3mpxls camera phone.. i liked this phone because it features xenon flash.. which is a must for photographers or a regular people who love to snap and shot... good phone i wish this phone will arrive in the philippines... if not i'll ask my sister to grab me one where this phone is available ^^

Nooo :'( SE, get your act together.
I definately want a SE feature phone. But they all have some little issue which makes them not an option for my taste.
Like here: if they'd only put a gps receiver in it, it would be perfect. It has a bigger screen than the C902, xenon flash (nice!!), solid candybar, but no gps.
C903 has two (!!) sliding surfaces. Really, come on (i'm not against sliders, but that's one too much). The W995 has that ridiculous chromey hook on the backside (centerstand for a phone, like wtf? Put your connector on the bottom and make some sort of dock...)
W715 is only sold through vodafone.
G705 gets bad reviews for it flimsy plastic quality which won't last too long (and with the light keyboard it's not that beautiful either)
W705 (metal version of the G705, finally!!!) doesn't has GPS!! :'(
And we're back to square one. Come on SE, make it happen. And use standard USB for gods sake.
The only phone that covers all the bases would be the nokia N82 (not too expensive) but the keyboard is absolute sh*te, then a N79 perhaps? But then i'm stuck with a 'real' OS whereas i prefer the fool proof nature of very advanced feature phones, instead of throttled back full blown OS. I want an easy phone...

The only thing that we Pinoys can do is to wish that by the time the C901 is officially released, SE would make it readily available in our country. Im raring to go back to SE and i think this phone is worth buying. Before I was eyeing the C510, but because im into mobile photography...xenon flash is a must. The C905 is tempting but im not into sliders. And I really missed the good 'ol K800i.

i agree with pnoi. i'm also a filipino and waiting to get this baby.. good phone! sadly i don't think they'll ship this baby in our country...

SE should think selling this phone and make it available to countries like Philippines, where it is highly in demand. If and only if, sales is what they want.

The Swedish web-site promote the C901 also
They guess in the middle of May to receive it.

i'm was just waiting sony ericsson to release a cybershot phone with xenon flash.. finally c901 is here.. can't wait to buy it.. i just don't know when will this phone arrive in the philippines. =p
