8 mp does not mean it is better than 5 mp. Its only the size. And size does not matters, quality does. I am sure that like k850, it will not be able to beat n82.

Does anyone know how can I backup my sms in the inbox to a MacBook? Ive got a mac and need to buy a new sony ericsson g700 but I really need the messages. The mem card content is fine as I can transfer that via bluetooth. The iSync plugin dosent help with sms's so Any other help? Please.

They are not in crummy qvga! Camcorders are not allowed in!
As was stated by someone else in a time of you tube and facebook, this is what is in the c905, qvga!
I don't have to buy a separate camcorder to video my 3 year old, my n95 works just fine!
Sony doesn't want to give you good video recording, in their cell phones,so people will still buy their camcorders!

Even in every phone reviews, they're giving much focused in photos not videos. 2 to 3 sentences for the video quality and then they're on to the next page. They even had "death matches" for photos and not on videos. So, just keep on whining! LOL!

C905 has better a Better camera then Nokia's
iv taken the sample picture of C905 from the First Look of GSMarenas review..
iv compared it with N95 8GB, K850i, N82
C905 wins since it has 8MP which is way ahead of 5MP's
so SE won this time.

tell u wat i think a phone is. 'a communication device 'and if u talk about da camera id juz say its fancy stuff coz comparing digital cameras wit a phone camera is juz a waste of tym .iv go no issues wit se coz i love it as an mp3 player and as a phone but camera is 1 thing a phone has not yet perfected i think sony should start workin on its platform more coz nokia has da advantage in this case coz they created symbian which is a very gd platform wen it comes 2 softwares which really makes lyf ez and internet is way fun in nokia with its custom software lyk chatting,browsing etc and there is office tools ,pdf reader,adobe flash,n gage,and a lot more,wat has sony got a java platform a gd camera (which nokia also hav) gd music(i salute se for this thing)etc(nt much though)and nokia got da latest edge gprs 3g wi fi gps and a keypad dat does not spoil easily so folks think before u bye a phone its all cnnectivity coz dats wat a mobile is suppose to do ryt?

Ok, so the screen resolution isnt amazing, the screen itself could be bigger aswell, and there isnt any touchscreen (even though the k850i and C902 do have it?) however the 8MP camera is quite a breakthrough in mobile phone technology. If the N96 (not the biggest fan of nokia, but the memory available is awesome) and the C905 were merged together somehow i'd really enjoy it myself. With the 'W' serioes walkman capabilities thrown in, along with the Xperia X1 Wi-fi and 3G speeds. Now that i'd love. In all fairness, anything beats an iPhone, 3G included =P

Whats the point, 01 Jul 2008I dont understand se and their fans. Whats the point of hav... morei just have checked it out,all i can say that...its a awesome phone...8mp zoom opt ..it doesn't matter,i think sony ericsson's image quality is much better than all other camera mobile phones.:D

The 8 megapixel only 'blinds' its buyers, the buyer doesnt look ahead of the camera, i agree that such a camera with xenon flash and featurers are tempting but think about it, this phone definetly goes for above $650 and it doesnt even come with a touch screen for faster use nor a high definition screen which are both common nowadays to digital cameras. I bet that the maximum optical zoom goes upto 3x, and you can get a sony t300 for less than $300 with 5x optical zoom, 10.1 megapixel with a high def. Screen, touchscreen and better features such as smile shutter. It also comes with carl zeiss lens, a higher iso functionality and advanced image stabilization which the c905 definetly doesnt have. Now Isnt that a better option to the c905, maybe before buying this phone you should wait for se to improve optical zoom in their phones since se are radically improving their phones and introducing them in the market as soon as possible, and by that time nokia and other phone makers would have already introduced an phone with better capabilities compared to the c905 not knowing that a new se is on its way to the market. In this way you would be able to compare the phones and then buy the 'best' phone in the market. For phone makers, the issue of megapixels is the main focus, thats why you should wait.
