nokia! dont make me laugh,nokia cant make a phone with a decent battery,n95 is a joke,unreliable is an understatement,aI was told by a phone shop that 70% of all nokia`s they sold in a year were returned with faults,to make a phone as bulky as n95 and not putting a decent battery is astounding,(half a day if your lucky)give me a sony any time.

id rather have a phone that may lack some trival features that barely gets used to a great phone with a great cam with a great look/build quality.. as the site says 'flawlessly crafted'.
whens the last time you heard such a comment about a nokia phone?

Come on people, for this awesome phone to have an 8MP camera is pretty good, i mean the fact is that it's still just a phone. As for the 'recording' side of things, if you have seen the video quality on the other phones, this one would be above and beyond them. So the verdict is either you like the phone or you don't, but i personally like the phone and for all of you who don't, post your crap on the nokia page!!!!!!!!

from reading the previous posts...
there seems to be two factions
1. one says "there's more to a phone than video recording"(and argues on why c905 is the ultimate phone)
2. another says this phone aint worth it because it cant record good quality videos
(thus claiming that c905 isnt a revolutionary phone)
my 2 cents:
to the guys claiming that there is more in a phone than recording a video, and claiming that this is the ultimate phone aka "nseries killer" well you guys just contradicted yourself since nseries being a smartphone, obviously have more than what this phone offers anyhow...
and to the guys saying that this isnt worth it because it cant record proper videos
wtf!!! is that kind of mentality? IMO that's too shallow of you, this phone is what a feature phone should be in 2008-09 though not a smartphone, it has the features that a smartphone could only do and that says alot

The truth of the fact is...
Even IF this phone HAS VGA recording capability, nokia noob will still going to have their way to find something just to dig a hole. They still going to critize it just for being a "sony ericsson"

well that is a good example allan,another example is:
what if you see your crush or a celebrity that you adore and he/she lets you have a photo or a video taken with you.
for the sake of traditinality, and convenience of not bothering that special person, in taking "the moment". You would probably opt to just take a picture and get on with your own businesses
but what if that special person conversed with you, chat with little bit...even told you that you are good looking or he/she also has a crush on you
you wont convince your friends that this special person that's with you in the picture told you that you are also special to him/her
but if you opted to record the video and the video would speak for itself...its a rare moment captured in VGA and 30fps in all its glorious form
your friends would see it all and its the ultimate form of evidence...bar none

saying that recording videos in good quality isnt important isnt a fact...it is just an opinion and a denial at that...
face it people....the only way to make a revolutionary camera is to include how good it;s video capabilities are...thus xperia for sony erisson is rock solid....

an event...an affair or anything both the pictures and videos gives alot....I of somethng to remember by...
but heck it would really be better if you'd remember an event by its motion and sounds...
