When will SONY learn to put
      3.5mm headphone jack?????

In every cell. phone that has standard 3.5mm headphone jack, the headphones can be used for listening the phone conversation as well!!

I will not buy this best Sony phone only
due to this stupiduty of not having a regular headphone jack in cell phones

I returned my C905 on 20th July to Vodafone Store for repair, I'm told it's due back to the shop tomorrow. I spoke with an engineer from MPRC.ie, he says that he's unaware of this fault, and that they have not been notified of the fault from SE. Vodafone only began stocking this in Ireland in March or April. He warned against assuming the severity of a fault based on the number of results from a google search, but I don't know.... I'm pretty sure that it's not an isolated issue.

Any word of Vodafone stocking iPhone by end-of-year? Vodafone have waived the 1 year limit on upgrade eligability due to my concerns about the phone, so if I'm going to upgrade I'm going to wait for either the iPhone 3Gs, the Nokia N86 or the SE Satio (built by HTC?).

At last I have been able to get rid of mine!

The internal microphone went, repair shop, then the screen went hay-wire!

Im usually a sony supporter, but feel they have made a huge error with this phone.

Its back to Nokia for me.

it's Sony Ericsson's flagship handset initially released to compete with the gaint Nokia. It makes good phone calls, the brilliant 8.1MP camera can capture high quality images, the photographing settings are a little complicated for me though, the built-in music player is not bad, BTW, i love the TrackID music recognition while listening to the FM radio, it really works. However, the call record capability is a drawback for SE, it has only 30 received, dialed and missed calls, it's far beyond enough for ppl like me, it doesn't match the flagship tag attached to the C905. All in all, i love it, hope the record capability will be upgraded in the next lineups.

                            7.3
                            out of 10

I had the C905 since March and despite having it 4 months it has now gone to the mobile phone maker in the sky. O2 online now don't stock it because of the problems with it. As with previous Sony Ericsson phones or maybe it's just bad luck. The C905 started off well, but I used to use the alarm to get myself up in the morning and used to switch it off before I went to sleep. So what I hear you say, but pretty much from day one when the alarm went off, obviously the phone started up, but then it crashed and wouldn't start up again unless I took the back off, removed the battery and reinserted etc. So in the end I didn't turn it off. Finally it gave up the ghost when the ear speaker packed up, a regular problem I've been informed, substandard wiring or something like that. If you don't get any problems you've been lucky, but unlike me i've had to return successive phones K800 and K850...I've had enough of Sony Ericsson...useless.

The main negative point is it has only 30 call records comparing to this other brands has 90 call records. The body is very light.

I've been using SE phones for last 8 years at least. They make good phones, last I had was the K800 which was great. This C905 was a total disaster. the paint on joypad came off after 2 month i think. The software is real slow and hang very often. Unable to turn back on after switching off, have to remove batt to reset again. My ear speaker was replaced twice, my camera over popped out on it's own. This phone is poorly designed and costs too much. I wouldnt even pay half the price I paid for this crap. Think I'll get a C902 instead.
