Hi GurPreet, GPS is 1 out of 10. I think because it's aGPS which means chargeable... I think that way too..
I encounter the speaker problem recently too.. Together with this problem is navigation problem & keypad. What I understand is that, the speaker is connected to the navigation part so either 1of them faulty will cause the other to fail in no time..
Due to this incident, I also found the sony ericsson service in Singapore is not doing a good job too...
Quite disappointed in SE this time round...s

I had this phone 5 days already. The way I really disappointed with this phone was:
1. Leak battery, no good. Too much power consumption!! Within 2 hours will be dead if you use WiFi network to browse. 3G Network will be less about 2-3hours.
2. Camera quality no good! Not sharp! Comparing with 8.1 MP should great and sharp.
3. Video quality no good! Blur, not sharp!
4. No front camera! Impossible to make video call 2 ways instant.
All other features are great like connectivity GPS, WiFi, 3G connect, Email, Google map, motion movement for games, moving wallpapers, slide the way of camera, Bluetooth, easy connectivity with PC as 3G modem through Bluetooth or USB cable, easy as media storage no driver required except phone mode (need to copy driver from PC suite installer).
For you all please consider the battery if want to buy! You are travelling person like Network/System Engineer like me definitely you need separate battery or more easily just use external charger.

Guys, I encountered Down key exiting my application when I got the phone in the 1st 2 weeks. Send in for repair for the 1st time.
2.5 months later, Up key not working, Keypad 1 & 7 not working & speaker problem.. 3 in 1....
Send in for the 2nd for repair...
First of all, i'm not an aggresive user because I take care of all my gadgets.. so these problems are purely phone issues.
I was very disappointed with SE new phones due to these reasons but I just dont bear to sell this C905 away because of its design & great 8.1 CyberShot phone....Wifi...ect...
Though many problems but generally, a great phone to have... You will love it if you can live with these known problems...

If your still looking to buy this phone, don't worry about the speaker or keypad problems. The newer models of this device have fixed most problems, i assume this is one of them. From C905 to C905a(or C905 Plus) is the difference between great phone and bad problems to great phone PERIOD.

I have 2 of these, my wife has one as well. NO PROBLEMS at all, phone is a gem, best 8mp you can get and SE is better than nokia by far. If you have problems maybe be more careful, technology this beautiful should not be dropped.

lucky enough, 27 May 2009any one have same issue like mine? number 6 and 3 have prob... morehi there, i all also encounter the same problem as yours which is the keypad #6 hard to press but i repair it already at the shop where i bought it while its still on warranty. So don't worry about that problem, just fixed it as soon as possible. Then it would be feel like as new. i'v been using it around 5 months already, only the keypad is the major problem. Overall the phones still the best phones.

It is a good phone, i honestly don't know what the hell you people are doing to keep breaking your c905 coz i have had mine for months, and no problem so far. Brilliant phone.

My brother just bought me this phone and i think it is brilliant, the camera on it is amazing, overall a quality phone i would say :)

I love this phone, I really really really do. It has the best features of any non-pda/iphone style phone around. but...
I'm about to return it to the service centre for the second time since i've got it and the second time in three months.
The first time was the two common issues that have plagued many of the C905's the speaker doesn't work unless on speakerphone and the sticky keypad.
While both of those were fixed, now I have the opposite speaker problem, I can hear people on a call fine but the external speaker doesnt work, so no ringing, no speaker phone, no keypad tone, nothing. I have to rely on the vibration to hear a call coming in.
& the past week or so, the battery has started running down at an alarming rate. It used to last for quite some time and now I need to charge it every day to capacity because it runs right down to red, and I might only make one or two brief calls and a few text messages. This is without using gps, without using internet, without using bluetooth - it's not connecting to anything and nothing is running in the background.
While I love the phone, I feel like the model is a bit of a lemon across the board.

people what the hell are you doing with your SE c905 phone. been using c905 for 2 months now,i have never encountered any problem with this baby. cam is awesome, phone does not freeze nor restarting by itself. update your phone software if you encounter any fault with the phone SEUS will fix the problem

Hmmm... C905 is better when it comes to camera but overall, I think it's still better to choose N82 because phones with slides if got broken are hard to be fixed and no HSCSD for c905. overall, i still think N82 is better.
