AnonD-23677, 27 Sep 2011explain in detail buddy... i am not getting the calender i... moreyes u can get the calendar menu in the menu list. i have just tried this as experiment and it works. there should be no .swf files in that theme file while u try to install. ie extract seperately to different folder and then delete the swf file. before transfering the thm file to ur phone, make sure that there is no swf file in the thm file package. Otherwise u get message as "incompatible theme, cannot be set".

all who want to play youtube downloaded flv videos can use these 2 programs to make them .mp4 format without any conversion/quality loss
1. flv extract
2. mp4 muxer
flv extract divides the file in 2 streams h264,aac and then use the mp4 muxer to remux them to using mp4 container.
this eliminates the use of conversion softwares and you can play the files without any loss due to re-encoding them.
these 2 programs requires less than 10 seconds to make .flv to .mp4 without any loss of quality.

hi guys,
for installing flash themes, i have one suggestion,
use 7zip file manager to open the .thm files ( for flash based), u can see the contents in that theme file, extract the .swf file sepeartely, then delete that swf file from that theme package. then transfer both .thm file and .swf file to ur phone, install the .thm file, then set the .swf file as ur theme wallpaper. sometimes u get stand by swf and one for menu animation, if u dont want that menu animation, then delete that file also, and follow the above said procedure. it works

i found a nice chat application in web, its called im+, its available for java phones also, usually for nimbuzz or ebuddy, u need to create a server side username and then need to configure ur own yahoo/gmail/.. accounts. in this, no need to create a server side username/pwd for java based phones, but for chatting via computer u need to create a username/pwd sepeartely,

just download and transfer the file to ur phone and install the app and configure the needed email accounts for chatting.
previously i was using nimbuzz and ebuddy, but this is useful, as there is no need to create a server side username/pwd

hiiii to all cedarians i have completed approx 5 months with this phone and i love it good battery life and multiple tasking is awesome and phone comes with 3.5G . sony ericsson is bst among all my advice is that cedar is bst phone in this price range thanks to SE ...........

Cedar, Elm, Hazel, zylo, and yari are of same platform. Only the specs vary. So dont search for Cedar if elm, yari and zylo are avail in that list.
Pick yur ph as yari or zylo.
And yu can run ebuddy, nimbuz or snaptu for yur need.

Ok here's one more question I have. Why is it that cedar is not listed in the download site of nimbuzz and ebuddy when almost tom dick and harry handsets are there ? I want a good messenger for my phone which can support yahoo chat. Suggest me friends.
